At the beginning of each week, we like to compile some great tracks that had debuted over the last 7 days and create a new mixtape for your guys. This time around we have some new songs from Dana Falconberry, PUP, Sharon Van Etten and many more!

Dana Falconberry's new single "Palmless" is this week's mixtape's opener, welcoming us to a brand new sound from the singer-songwriter. Known mostly as more of a folk artist, Falconberry's new song is more post-folk in an obvious evolution of sound.

RIYL: Feist, Emily Haines

Philadelphia punk rock two-piece Omar surprised us all by releasing a new EP, Omar Sells Out, almost a year after splitting up, reuniting, recording new music and then going quiet again. Well these two are back and we're all the better for it!

RIYL: Dum Dum Girls, Cloud Nothings

Sharon Van Etten's first single off her 2014 album Are We There has us aching for more from the sensually sad singer-songwriter. Etten has a way of perfectly portraying the longing and eagerness associated with love and loss, and "Taking Chances" is another sultry number to help us understand the emotions.

RIYL: Feist, Cat Power

We witnessed some incredible covers this week of some classic tracks. Check out D'Angelo covering Al Green, Banks taking on Aaliyah, and Speedy Ortiz's Sadie Dupuis covering Josie and the Pussycats!

Ben Frost has pulled out all of the stops for his upcoming album A U R O R A. He called on musicians with Greg Fox (formerly of Liturgy), Thor Harris and Shahzad Ismaily, all notable in their own right, for the record. This week we heard the first single, "Venter," which has left us speechless.

RIYL: Nine Inch Nails, Autechre

PUP's new single, "Dark Days," might have a depressing name but the song features some of the most uplifting lyrics and melodies, complimented with incredibly joyous choruses and gang vocals. Try not to get the itch to sing along.

RIYL: Japandroids, Titus Andronicus

Let's get lost in the dreamy new single from Merchandise, shall we? "Figured Out" is reminiscent of 1990s shoegaze mixed with the pop rock of the 1980s. Fall in love to this song!

RIYL: The Smiths, The Cure, Pavement

Tigers Jaw went through a rough year in 2013, losing key members including one songwriter. Fortunately for us, singer Ben Walsh has managed to calm our nerves with the new song "Nervous Kids." Fans of the band will be delighted with this new song!

RIYL: Title Fight, Nirvana

This mixtape would be a great little gift for your closest friend with the most angst. They would definitely appreciate this one!
