We know that there were a handful of fun album releases this week (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, etc.) but let's try to focus on the new singles that graced our ears instead! We have some new tunes from Tycho, Architecture in Helsinki, Arthur Beatrice and many more on this week's mixtape.

Architecture in Helsinki are back and the Australian pop group's new track, "I Might Survive," is a great way to grab some much needed attention. We're excited for the group's 2014 return album NOW + 4EVA, especially since their last album was in 2011. So we've started this week's mixtape off with this catchy!

New York musician Damon McMahon is putting out his debut album under the moniker Amen Dunes entitled Love in May, and his first single "Lonely Richard" was released this week. This song is reminiscent of what made American singer-songwriters so prolific and influential. Love will feature contributions from members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Colin Stetson, and Elias Bender Ronnenfelt of Iceage and Vår.

RIYL: Van Morrison, Band of Horses, Wilco

British Indie band Arthur Beatrice released its second single, "Singles," off of the upcoming 2014 debut album Working Out. This seductive number makes us excited for the new batch of indie music coming out of the U.K. Will Arthur Beatrice lead this march? Let's get familiar with them to be prepared!

RIYL: Portishead, Poliça

Chelsea Wolfe's 2013 album, Pain is Beauty, blew us away. She released her latest song, "Be Free," this week, which is actually a collaboration with King Dude, a.k.a. T.J. Cowkill. Keeping in the dark vein we love from this songstress, this duet is definitely impressive to say the least.

RIYL: The National, Rachel Yamagata, Bruce Springsteen

Are you ready for some great new remixes from this week? We've included James Blake's remix of Kendrick Lamar, Twin Shadow's remix of Goldfrapp, and The Weeknd's remix of Ty Dolla $ign.

Danish singer-songwriter Majke Voss Romme, a.k.a. Broken Twin, debuted her folk ballad "Glimpse of a Time" this week, which is off of her debut album May, out April 29. There's something so soothing about Romme's gentle vocals, with each tremble making us beg for a happy ending to this tender tune.

RIYL: Angel Olsen, Neil Young, Emily Haines

Moving out of the gentle singer-songwriter feel, we have Tycho's anthemic new song "Spectre" to get your toes tapping and spirits up!

RIYL: The Killers, Washed Out

It might be safe to say that Yuck can do no wrong in our hearts. The group's newest song, "Another One," just goes to show how these indie rockers can't disappoint fans!

RIYL: Pity Sex, Pains of Being Pure at Heart

Our latest mixtape should be shared with your driving buddy. This is the person that enjoys going on trips with you to wherever you can think of! And yes, this is also a devious plan to allow you to listen to this mixtape as much as possible, too.
