It appears that congratulations are in order. "The Truth" rapper Kevin Gates tied the knot with longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Dreka Haynes this weekend, he and new bride Haynes said "I do" in an elegant setting amongst family and friends. Gates is now a married man--and no his new bride is not the infamous cousin he knowingly ended up engaging in a long term relationship with. Hot New Hip Hop reports Gates married the mother of his children, Islah and Khaza. The rapper who is known for oversharing in his music as well as social media, stuck true to form and documented the momentous occasion by taking to Instagram posting a series of videos. One of the video captioned, "I got just got married", the camera then focusing on his beautiful new bride and then on him and his groomsmen.

The rapper weds on the heels of his legal woes for kicking a female fan in Florida in the chest after she grabbed his shorts in September. The young woman has since then come out saying she forgives the rapper, however she insists he definitely lost a supporter in her after the incident.
In his emotionally charged ode to the incident, "The Truth" Gates raps, "Man in the mirror, you way out of order / Go to jail, who gon' look out for your daughter? / All on the news 'bout what happened in Florida / Posted on WorldStar, an iPhone recorded / She grabbed my d*ck, overreacted, I'm sorry / Two or three times I had already warned her."
