2015 has been a big rollercoaster year for One Direction, and the boy band is wrapping up the year in a "Perfect" way: by performing on the annual special Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve. On Wednesday (Nov. 18), it was announced that 1D will join host Fergie for the West Coast telecast of the Dec. 31 show.

One Direction will perform at the Billboard Hollywood Party on the West Coast, hosted by Black Eyed Peas singer and noted Los Angeles lover Fergie, according to Billboard. 1D's California celebration will be a part of the New Year's Rockin' Eve show, which is centered in New York City's Times Square.

One Direction's send-off to 2015 comes after a big year for the boy band, which featured everything from the departure of founding member Zayn Malik to a new album Made in the A.M. to the announcement of a two-year hiatus.

"It's been an incredible year for us and we can't wait to ring in the New Year with all our fans on New Year's Rockin' Eve," the band said in a statement. "It's an honor to be back at the Billboard Hollywood Party for our second year."

One Direction performed at the Billboard Hollywood party just last year. The then five-piece sang "Steal My Girl," "Story of My Life," "Night Changes," "Little Things" and "What Makes You Beautiful."

While 1D rock out in Hollywood, Ryan Seacrest will be holding things down in New York City. Earlier this year, it was announced that Carrie Underwood will headline the NYC events.
