Black Sabbath fans have had quite a confusing 2015. After spending a year of looking forward to a final Sabbath album, October brought the news that the plan had been scrapped. The metal greats decided to place all focus on their farewell The End tour, and quite frankly, Ozzy Osbourne himself doesn't think fans would be interested in a new Black Sabbath album.

"Number one: People aren't really interested in hearing new stuff and number two: If we were to do an album before the tour, it would take three or four years to complete the album. We want to end it on a high note," frontman Osbourne told Australian site news.com.au of the decision to ditch ideas of their final album which would've trailed 2013's 13.

Despite the decision to halt recording a final album, Osbourne is far from finished with his music career. The Paranoid singer has every intention of continuing his solo career once Black Sabbath wraps up and The End tour launches in Omaha on January 20, UltimateClassicRock reports.

"I thought no one would remember me when we first started playing music. I'd rather end it now though than drag it out for another five albums," Osbourne added. Now, the singer is 67-year-old and admitted that once his fame started, he only imagined it would last for a few years tops.

He made it clear, however, that the end of Black Sabbath doesn't mean the end for him. "I did pretty well for 35 years - and I'm not retiring," he explained. "I'm going to do a solo album and a solo tour. I mean, my wife's a shopaholic, always off buying f-ing shoes or something, so I've got to keep the money coming somehow."

Aside from music, Osbourne and his son Jack will make their way back to the television screen to host their very own History Channel show.
