Grammy nominations may have just been announced earlier this week, but that doesn't mean that musicians are done vying for big nods for the 2016 award season. On Friday (Dec. 11) the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the 74 songs that are shortlisted for the 2016 Oscars, including some of the year's biggest hits from The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Lady Gaga and more.

Entertainment Weekly reported the lengthy list of soundtrack singles eligible for the 2016 Oscars. As could be expected, three songs from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack made the cut, including The Weeknd's "Earned It," Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" and Sia's "Salted Wounds."

But, plenty of other big name artists made the cut. Lady Gaga's intense The Hunting Ground track "Til It Happens To You" has also made the shortlist as well as Miley Cyrus' "Hands of Love," a trio of Rihanna songs from her animated feature Home, two cuts from the Pan soundtrack by Lily Allen, Jessie J's Pitch Perfect 2 song "Flashlight," Eminem's "Phenomenal," Sam Smith's James Bond theme and more.
