British rock band Bring Me The Horizon recently appeared on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway where a fan's grandmother was taught by Oli Sykes to scream metal.

As part of the episode, a fan's grandmother named Barb paid a visit to her grandson's favorite band, Bring Me The Horizon. Nana Barb looked active and delighted to see the band and she was warmly greeted by the group.

“I’ve got to be honest, the first time I heard your songs, it wasn’t my cup of tea,” grandma Barb said, according to Loud Wire. She even sang a melodic rendition of a song that she likes as per requested by the band.

But that wasn't all. Barb even requested that the band's frontman, Sykes, teach her how to scream. It was a hilarious moment to see a granny growl. Aside from the guttural vocals, she also tried to strum an electric guitar and of course, took a selfie with the group.

Aside from this, Grandma Barb also joined X Factor star Fleur East for a live performance of "Play That Sax," on the same show, which shocked her family and friends, Mirrork UK reported.

Recently, the band, who just released the That's The Spirit LP in 2015, performed at the NME Awards 2016 in Austin, Texas wherein Sykes jumped on Coldplay's table singing "Happy Song." While jumping up and down, Sykes kicked bottles and glasses as Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland tried to move away from the spillage.

The band received the NME Innovation Award that night and also clarified the incident saying that it wasn't a protest against Coldplay -- it just happened that it was Coldplay that was at the table at the time.

"I had no sound in my ears so I thought 'Well, there might be sound out there.' There weren't sound out there so when I came back there was a table, which I got on. There wasn't any sound on there, but it was a bit more energetic up there. It was in no way a protest against Coldplay, " Sykes himself explained, according to NME.
