Demi Lovato is going to be very angry soon... or at least she is going to sing angrily for a movie. On Monday (April 4), the "Stone Cold" singer revealed that she's joining the upcoming The Angry Birds Movie by contributing a song to the film's soundtrack.

After a big weekend, which included stunning performances at the Glaad Awards and the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Lovato announced that she will be releasing a new song for The Angry Birds Movie on her Twitter.

In typical Demi style, her announcement features a flurry of puffy, adorable birds glamming her up.

Details about Lovato's contribution to The Angry Birds Movie, including a track title and release date remain under wraps. However, Lovato seemed to hint that the song will not be released until May, when the movie hits theatres.

Lovato is just the latest musician to be tied to The Angry Birds Movie.

In December, Blake Shelton announced that he will be voicing a country-fried pig named Earl in the movie. Shelton will also be singing a song for the film's soundtrack, which is now shaping up to be a star-studded affair.

Additionally, last week Pitchfork reported that Charli XCX will also star in The Angry Birds Movie as a beanie-wearing bluebird named Willow. However, it's not confirmed whether or not the "Vroom Vroom" singer will be contributing to the soundtrack.

The Angry Birds Movie is set to be released on May 20. In addition to Shelton and Charli XCX, the film will also feature the voice acting talents of Jason Sudekis, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Josh Gad, Danny McBride and more.
