After taking Gwen Stefani, Julia Roberts and George Clooney on a ride, James Corden had another set of guests for the Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke segment. Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, who are going to do a tour together, recently joined Corden where they had a little chitchat, belted out some songs and even went out of the car to perform on the street.
Lovato revealed some details about Jonas's dating history with stars like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Apparently, they two know each other well since they've been friends for 10 years.
After talking about Jonas's love life, the trio sang some of the singers' hit songs like Lovato's “Heart Attack” and Jonas's “Chains.” They also sang "Cake by the Ocean" from Lovato’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas, who is the brother of Nick.
Jonas confirmed that he dated the stars and added that he decided to take off his purity ring when he fell in love with someone older than him.
"I had a real relationship – with an adult – and I fell in love, actually," Jonas said, according to People. "I fell in love and I felt it was time to take the purity ring off."
Although Jonas didn't name the woman, he recently revealed that his new album is inspired by his two-year relationship with Olivia Culpo, describing it as "the most meaningful relationship I've ever been in."
When asked if the two 23-year-old stars were romantically linked together, they assured the host that it never happened.
"I don't know if you've noticed but I kind of go for older guys," Lovato said, teasing Jonas. "No offense!"
The trio then decided to get out of the car to do an impromptu street performance. Corden banged some buckets, Jonas strummed his guitar, and Lovato sang her hit song “Confident.” After they finished their performance, Corden went around with a hat asking for tips, Yahoo reported.
