Sia's new album 1000 Forms Of Fear won't see an official release until Tuesday, July 8, but music fans who recognize that "Chandelier" is actually the best pop song of 2014 can now listen to the album in full. Starting today (July 1), 1000 Forms Of Fear is streaming in its entirety on iTunes Radio.
Sia began the 1000 Forms Of Fear album cycle in March with the release of the planned Rihanna track "Chandelier." An anti-partying anthem cleverly disguised as a celebratory single, "Chandelier" soars and glimmers, thanks largely to Sia's powerhouse vocals.
Though she chooses not to face the camera during live performances, Sia has been making the rounds on television with help from the likes of Maddie Zeigler (Dance Moms) and Girls star Lena Dunham, resulting in haunting live renditions that bring the track's stunning music video to life.
In addition to "Chandelier," Sia has also been promoting the album through singles "Eye of the Needle" and "Big Girls Cry." Sia released the latter track on June 25, celebrating heightened emotions in a cold, cruel world.
Sia very well could be the elusive chanteuse we need. And she's very much the one we deserve.
