Kim Kardashian is a doting mom to her youngest child, Chicago West. The 37-year-old reality TV star is also very hands-on to her little one.
Despite her busy schedule, Kardashian sees to it that she gets up in the middle of the night or whenever necessary to take care of Chicago. Kanye West's third child was born on Monday, Jan. 15, and a source said that Chicago has been "sleeping a ton" so far.
One day after Chicago's birth, Kardashian made the official announcement on her website. In her lengthy post, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also thanked her gestational carrier for making her dreams of becoming a mom of three come true.
"North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister," wrote Kardashian.
How Different Is North From Saint West?
A source revealed that Kardashian and Kanye want to make sure that North and Saint would never feel left out with their youngest sibling around. Last year, Kardashian revealed that North and Saint are so different from each other. Before Saint was born, North said that she did not want to have a baby brother.
"I thought it was like, 'OK, a couple months; she's just warming up to it.' She got so jealous when I would breastfeed and all that stuff. Now, the phase isn't going away," said Kardashian.
The KKW Beauty CEO told Ryan Seacrest that North is also very smart for her age. In order to make sure that Saint will not be included in their games, she would always hold pretend tea parties. Since it is an activity for girls, North does not allow her brother or even her dad to join.
Saint looks up to his older sister so much. He also imitates North so when the 4-year-old cries, he cries as well. Kardashian finds this quite tricky because she cannot carry both of her kids at the same time.
Chicago West's First Photo
The first photo of Chicago has not yet been released. There are speculations suggesting that the infant's picture will be shared via Kardashian's website or social media accounts sometime in March. Kardashian and Kanye released the first photo of North when she turned 2 months old. The couple also did the same thing with their second child.
Kardashian and Kanye also refused to sell Chicago's photos to the media even if they were offered between $2 million to $5 million for it.
