Mandy Moore fulfills a lifelong dream. The This Is Us star has managed to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
The 33-year-old singer documented her experience taking on Africa's highest mountain by sharing photos and videos on her social media account. On Friday, Moore also uploaded a series of Instagram Stories.
In one of her posts, Moore thanked her hiking partner, Eddie Bauer, for making her dreams come true.
I have dreamed the dream of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro since the age of 18. Thanks to @eddiebauer, my partner in this adventure, this past week saw #1 on my bucket list come to fruition and I lived out one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life with a few of my best friends. "This past week saw #1 on my bucket list come to fruition and I lived out one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life with a few of my best friends," wrote Moore.
Moore's fiancé Taylor Goldsmith also joined the actress on her recent adventure.
One publication revealed that it takes about a week to complete a hike to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. A journey to the top means climbers will encounter different temperatures. Mount Kilimanjaro sits at 19,341 feet, and it is also the host of five different vegetation zones.
Mandy Moore Talks About Honeymoon Plans
During a previous interview, Moore said that she wants to climb the mountain on her and Goldsmith's honeymoon. Luckily for the A Walk to Remember star, her hike happened way sooner than she could have imagined.
"I do want to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. That's a bucket list item, maybe on the next hiatus; I've already told Taylor that I may incorporate it into the honeymoon," said Moore at the time.

Moore and Goldsmith have been dating for over two years. They got engaged in September of last year. While speaking with another publication, Moore shared how she told her co-stars the news about their engagement.
The actress-singer told everyone via the show's group chat, and everyone was excited for her and Goldsmith. The couple's wedding date has not yet been announced.
