James Corden is joining the foray of artists who are bringing live entertainment online with his Homefest: James Corden's Late Late Show Special set March 30 at 10 pm ET.

Big stars from the U.S. and different parts of the world will take part in the show. It will run for an hour and will be shown from Corden's garage. Corden, who has a following of 10.7 million, posted the announcement on Twitter.

Apart from Corden, many artists have also resorted to live streaming online. As several shows or performances have been either canceled or postponed, artists continue to entertain everyone who are now practicing social distancing and are staying home.

James Corden's Guests

K-pop sensational group BTS was recently Cohen's guest in the segment Carpool Karaoke. The show featured them singing songs from their new album "Map of the Soul: 7" and covers of Bruno Mars' "Finesse" and Post Malone's "Circles". It was aired on February 26, 2020, with almost 27 million viewers on YouTube.

Billie Eilish also guested in Carpool Karaoke on December 19, 2019, and has 50.5 million hits on YouTube.

Other artists who will be joining Homefest are John Legend from LA, Dua Lipa from London, and Andrea Bocelli from Tuscany, Italy.

Celebrity Talks

David Blaine, Will Ferrell, and other celebrities will also be joining to have conversations with the late-night host.

CBS executive producers Ben Winston and Rob Crabble said that when The Late Late Show went off the air, they had planned to put in together a special, which is Homefest. They aim "to entertain, raise awareness, raise money, and hopefully lift spirits."

Corden and his guests will be discussing the importance of following public health and government guidelines to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. They will also encourage viewers to do their share by donating to the CDC Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the work of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Feed the Children.

For every dollar to be donated, Feed the Children, one of the nation's leading anti-hunger non-profit organizations, will be getting $7 worth of food and other necessities to children and families who are displaced due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Late Night Shows' Status

Due to the quarantine, TV's late-night shows have suspended airing with live audiences to support social distancing. Stephen Colbert's "The Late Show", Trevor Noah's "The Daily Show", and Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show" are on hold. They created home video clips, posted on their social media accounts, and aired into repeats of their shows. Jimmy Kimmel did a series of short dialogues for social media.
