Kendrick Lamar has mounted an incredible comeback to music after releasing "DAMN" five years ago.

With the current commercial success of his newest album, "Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers," Kdot has been dominating various Billboard charts this week, including the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100.

But very recently, Billboard has recorded a new feat for the rap icon.

Kendrick Lamar Rocketed Atop The Billboard Artists 100

Taking a huge leap from No. 9 to No. 1 this week at the Billboard Artists 100, Kendrick Lamar has now dominated three major Billboard charts on the May 28-dated week.

Billboard Artists 100 ranks the week's most popular artists across all genres. Luminate compiles and ranks the artist through their total album and track sales. They also consider the Radio Airplay Audience Impressions and Streaming activity data from online sources.

With this feat, Lamar is once again the top musical act in the United States for a total of six weeks, and for the first time since 2017, when he released the Pulitzer-winning album "DAMN."

Kendrick's sixth week on the charts makes him the third-longest reigning rapper at No. 1, eventually beating Future. He trails behind Post Malone, who stayed a total of 14 weeks, and Drake with a staggering 36 weeks.

Luminate reported that to date, the opening week of Lamar's latest effort, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers," is by far the biggest opening week for an album this 2022.

Kendrick Lamar on Billboard 200, Hot 100 Debut

The album has sold 295,500 equivalent album units on its debut, launching it atop the Billboard 200 charts.

With this newest feat, Lamar bested Bad Bunny's opening week last week for "Un Verano Sin Ti," which only sealed 274,000 units, while Future's "I Never Liked You" debuted with 222,000 the week prior. This is the third consecutive week wherein the record for the biggest opening week was surpassed.

This is also Kendrick's fourth album to hit No. 1 on the chart, as his three previous albums also share the same debut position.

Over the Hot 100, all 18 songs of the album have hit the charts, including his non-album single, "The Heart Part 5," - bringing the total to 19. Four of those debuted in the Top 10, with "N95" ranking the highest at No. 3.
