Bad news for Born of Osiris fans. It appears that the metalcore band will not be going on tour anymore after their guitarist Lee McKinney suffered from an alarming health situation. The big question is; how is the musician today?

Taking to their official Instagram account, the "Follow The Signs" hitmakers reveal that McKinney had an "unfortunate medical situation" that left him in a coma for almost a month. He was also admitted to the hospital for six weeks.

Fortunately, the band revealed that their pal is now home and is expected to make a full recovery over the next few months.

However, despite McKinney surviving his undisclosed medical condition, Born of Osiris had to step back and cancel all their scheduled shows with In Flames for the month of October.

They will be replaced by Upon A Burning Body on tour.

"We are hoping for a speedy and healthy recovery for Lee, and we appreciate all of our friends and fans that have reached out," they added. (via Loudwire)

The band also gave their friends at In Flames and Upon A Burning Body good luck on their tour and encouraged fans to watch one of their shows if they have the time.

Regarding the future of their group, the band said they will be using their time off to work on a new album. They will also not cancel their appearance at the Hell and Heaven festival in Mexico on December 4.

In addition, they are currently working to get back on tour next year and they can't wait to see fans attend their shows.

In Flames Tour 2022

Despite Born of Osiris canceling their appearance on their tour, In Flames will still perform at their highly-anticipated scheduled tour as mentioned above.

Their next show would be at Pops in Sauget, Illinois, on September 27. They are also set to visit several cities across the United States like Wichita, Lincoln, Lawrence, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Saint Petersburg, Warrendale, Richmond, Cleveland, and many more.

Their last North American show would be at Reverb in Reading, Pennsylvania, on October 28.
