The Exploited and their fans were having a great time last weekend at a concert in Bogota, Colombia, when, all of a sudden, frontman Wattie Buchan collapsed on stage; what happened to him?

According to Consequence Heavy, the vocalist is suspected to have suffered from a heart attack while singing.

As seen in a video circulating online, the Scottish punk singer was performing "Army Life" for concertgoers when he started clutching his chest before ultimately falling down on his knees.

He was immediately consulted by staff on stage before he was taken to the hospital. Fans who attended the music event reportedly stayed at the venue until they announced that the singer was okay.

In a statement, a representative for the punk group confirmed to STV News that Buchan had another heart attack during the performance.

"He tried playing on but had to actually stop a couple of songs until he eventually collapsed," the spokesperson said.

Wattie Buchan Speaks Out After Collapse

The day after he suffered from a heart attack, Buchan took to his official Instagram account to tell fans that he was feeling "a bit better" but still "f***** up."

Since he couldn't do anything, he stayed at the hotel after being discharged from the hospital and hoped to return to the United Kingdom the following day.

The vocalist also delivered devastating news to fans as he announced that the rest of their tour dates for 2022 have been canceled after consulting with his doctor.

"We apologize to the fans, promoters and everyone affected by this situation. Thank you for understanding," he wrote.

Concluding his post, Buchan said the gig in Bogota, Colombia, was amazing and he wanted to express his gratitude to fans who attended the show.

Not The First Time Wattie Buchan Suffered From Heart Attack

The latest incident wasn't the first time Buchan experienced such a health condition because, in 2014, he also collapsed on stage while performing in Lisbon, Portugal.

Three years later, he was also hospitalized in Belgium after suffering a heart issue while touring.

Fans can remember the singer insisted on not canceling their 40th-anniversary tour in March 2020 despite the global pandemic, saying "F*** coronavirus! I have had five heart attacks, a quad heart bypass and a heart pacemaker fitted."
