Lady Gaga sang praises for Taylor Swift as she called her "really brave" when she opened up about her eating disorder.

In 2020, Swift released her hit documentary, "Miss Americana." Its content continues to go viral due to the singer's inspiring story and messages to her fans.

Most recently, a fan reposted part of the documentary on TikTok, in which Swift talked about her struggles with food and body image. The "Midnight Rain" hitmaker revealed at that time that she used to eat a little and work out too much to maintain her unhealthy body image.

But after years of suffering, Swift finally overcame it and made herself happier.

"I don't care as much if somebody points out that I have gained weight," she said. "It's just something that makes my life better, the fact that I'm a size six instead of a size double zero. That wasn't how my body was supposed to be - I just didn't really understand that at the time."

Fans immediately left heartfelt messages on the TikTok video, including Lady Gaga.

The "Always Remember Us This Way" hitmaker applauded Swift, saying it was "really brave" that she opened up about her eating disorder.

It was not the first time Lady Gaga spoke highly of the singer, though. When Swift appeared in "One World: Together at Home," she sang "Soon You'll Get Better." The "Anti-Hero" singer-songwriter made the song for her mother, Andrea, who has been fighting against cancer.

At that time, Lady Gaga took her feelings on her social media account and called Swift's performance "beautiful." She also called her "so much braver" as she shared her vulnerable moment with everyone.

Lady Gaga Also Suffered Eating Disorder

But like Swift, Lady Gaga herself also went through the worst because of the disorders and conditions she went through.

On a page titled A Body Revolution 2013, she posted photos of herself in her underwear. She then revealed that she had been battling bulimia and anorexia since she was 15.

During her appearance at a young women's conference hosted by Maria Shriver, she detailed her struggles more and recalled the time she used to throw up all the time when she was in high school.

"I wanted to be a skinny little ballerina but I was a voluptuous little Italian girl whose dad had meatballs on the table every night," she quipped.

In the years thereafter, Lady Gaga sought help and did her best to find a new balance in her life.
