Mick Jagger's girlfriend Melanie Hamrick has allegedly been making her desire for marriage to the Rolling Stones frontman very clear.
Sources close to the 36-year-old former ballerina had reported that she is attempting to push Mick's hand regarding tying the knot, with one even saying "she knew exactly what she was doing" when she declared that she would not refuse should he propose.
Melanie and Mick have had a long-standing relationship that resulted in their son Deveraux'sbirth.
In a previous interview, Melanie confessed, "I know there have been lots of, 'Are they engaged or aren't they engaged?' I'm not bothered. I'm neither here nor there."
The shocking confession was what she told The Timeswhile revealing that the rock star would hear a resounding yes if he did get down on one knee.
Sources close to the situation allege that she made her demands very clear to earn Jagger's undivided attention.
"It appears as though this was a way for her to make him aware that she has had enough of his empty promises," those same sources told Radar Online.
"Mick cannot deny his admiration for her, and is more than happy with their lifestyle - but ultimately, she wants it all."
The informant provided a few insights, noting that "Mick is wavering" and may have to resign themselves to the current state of affairs.
"The only other thing she can do is make some fairly obvious suggestions."

In a recent discussion with reporters, Melanie Hamrick opened up about how she and Mick Jagger maintain their successful relationship.
"A large part of our bond is focused on the fact that we both share a discipline and commitment to our respective crafts," she explained. "His for his music and mine for my own artistry."
She said, "You're folded into this world, you adjust, you get used to it, and it's wonderful."
"I enjoy this schedule. I don't want to be tied down. Hopefully one day in the future we'll end up based here [in London], but until then I'm going to just keep going."
Still, it's best to take the outlet's report with a grain of salt regarding the "ultimatum" Melanie Hamrick gave Mick Jagger.
