Ozzy Osbourne announced his departure from the headliners' lineup for the upcoming Power Trip Festival, saying in the statement on his Facebook page that he is not yet ready to conquer the stage again after surviving a myriad of health issues over the past few years.

Judas Priest Replaces Ozzy Osbourne at Power Trip Festival

The Power Trip Festival named the band that officially replaced Ozzy Osbourne in the lineup: Judas Priest.

On Power Trip Festival's Twitter page, the event uploaded a new poster including Judas Priest's name as it confirmed the band as the newest addition to the lineup.

"Power Trippers! Are you ready for some Judas Priest style heavy metal!!" the announcement read. "We are excited and ready to raise double horns way up high together keeping the metal faith at this bostin one of a kind Power Trip world event!" [sic]

Judas Priest also shared the same poster on its Twitter account and immediately got support from their fans who have been wanting to see them live again. However, some internet users expressed their dismay due to the "disappointing" replacement saying that the band does not thrill them since it is not as big as Osbourne.

Why Ozzy Osbourne Will No Longer Attend Power Trip Festival Revealed

Judas Priest's addition to the Power Trip Festival lineup came hours after Osbourne said that his body is telling him he is not "ready yet."

Osbourne originally planned to return in 2024; however, he accepted the Power Trip Festival's invitation as he thought he could start taking baby steps as early as this year.

Despite his absence, the rocker told his fans he would do more shows since touring was the "best thing" that ever happened in his life.
