Beyoncé's "Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé" is one of the most highly-anticipated concert films of the year next to Taylor Swift's "Taylor Swift: The Eras' Tour."
Per Box-Office records, Beyoncé has amassed a domestic box-office record that puts her in the Top 5 of the list.

According to a press release obtained by Billboard from AMC Theatres, "Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé" has raked in a total of $21 million in North American ticket sales alone.
Although it did not surpass Taylor Swift's "Taylor Swift: The Eras' Tour" records, which logged more than $92 million in North America alone, Queen Bey managed to do a great job considering the challenge of releasing post-Thanksgiving.
Beyoncé is clearly at odds with the worldwide smash that is "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" at the box office.
Billboard even noted that the Grammy-winning icon defied the odds because this weekend has been dubbed as notoriously slow. It has been 20 years since a film opened to a $20 million mark since "The Last Samurai" premiered in 2003.
"On behalf of AMC Theatres Distribution and the entire theatrical industry, we thank Beyoncé for bringing this incredible film directly to her fans," AMC Theatres Executive Vice President of Worldwide Programming Elizabeth Frank said in a statement. "To see it resonate with fans and with film critics on a weekend that many in the industry typically neglect is a testament to her immense talent, not just as a performer, but as a producer and director."
Beyoncé was in charge of the overall creative direction of the film - having to write, direct, and produce the film.

Beyoncé 'Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé' Critics Review
The Hollywood Reporter likened watching "Renaissance: A Beyoncé Film" saying that it is a "spiritual experience unto itself."
"Were Renaissance the movie simply a recording of the show, it'd be a treat in itself. By weaving in behind-the-scenes footage and interviews that reveal where Renaissance came from and how it got to be here, Beyoncé serves up a fully satisfying meal," the publication wrote in a rave review.
"Throughout "Renaissance," as ever, Beyoncé is in complete control of her narrative - that impression of flawlessness doesn't happen by itself, and despite the film's intimacy, we never truly get a glimpse behind the curtain," Variety wrote in their review of the film. "It's satisfying without being indulgent, but most of all, it's a monument to Beyoncé's status as one of pop's most enduring figures, and everything it takes to get there."
