Garth Brooks revealed the secret of his and Trisha Yearwood's lasting marriage.
In 2005, Brooks and Yearwood wed decades after their first meeting in 1987 during a demo recording session. The "Ropin' the Wind" crooner was previously married to his college girlfriend, Sandy Mahl, with whom he shares three daughters - Taylor, August and Allie.
Decades after Brooks found love again, he reflected on his current romance and shared the secret that has been helping them improve their relationship.

In his new interview with Us Weekly (via OK! Magazine), Brooks shared what helps them maintain their happy marriage 18 years after they wed.
"It's just being together. That's it," the 61-year-old country singer said. "We don't have to be doing anything, but just knowing she's there [is nice]."
Brooks admitted to always wanting Yearwood to be around for him because he feels helpless as he could do everything as long as he is with his wife.
Previously, he emotionally opened up about feeling grateful during his appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."
"So I think that's it. What I'd love to say is the day I take my last breath on this planet, I'd love for my three girls to be around me and I'd love for the queen to be around me," he went on.
Despite having his thoughts about death, he clarified that he is not worried about Yearwood since he plans to "find her in the next" life after finding her in his past life.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's Relationship
Speaking about their first meeting, Brooks told "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" how he knew Yearwood was the one for him.
"It's strange because I felt that feeling like when you just meet your wife, but I've been married for 13 months," he said. "[Yearwood is someone I] always enjoyed being around. We had a lot more in common than I ever dreamed we did."
They made their relationship officially public on June 13, 2002, at the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Three years later, Brooks popped the question to Yearwood at the Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, Calif.
While they have yet to welcome a child together, Yearwood has since established a close relationship with his three kids.
