"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" with Ryan Seacrest is one of the most highly-anticipated New Year's Eve parties of the year.

The annual festive celebration featured Jelly Roll, LL Cool J, Megan Thee Stallion, Green Day, and Sabrina Carpenter.

The "Feather" singer, who had amassed huge popularity this year, had fans at the edge of their seats with her iconic "Nonsense" outro lyric change apt for the performance.

Unbeknownst to many, Sabrina Carpenter changes the final outro lyrics of her song "Nonsense" depending on the event or the city she performs.

For her "Emails I Can't Send" tour in the United States and other parts of the world, Carpenter usually changes her final lyrics to something raunchy and racy that thrills her fans.

As for the "Dick Clark New Year's Rocking Eve," Carpenter gave a very telling lyric change.

"Clark is everybody's favorite d!ck type Make a toast to everyone you dislike Balls are dropping everywhere at midnight," she sang.

Sabrina Carpenter Fans React To Raunchy 'Nonsense' Outro on New Year's Eve

As soon as Carpenter's performance was uploaded on social media, fans showered Carpenter with praises, lauding her for her inventiveness.

"sabrina could write hamlet but Shakespeare could not write her nonsense outros," a user jokingly noted on Twitter/X.

"I am so glad all my family members were talking so they didn't hear this part they would be like omg why would she say that lol" someone commented on YouTube.

"just saw this on tv! so happy she preformed but my mom was definitely a lil bit confused" a fan posted.

"I was legit on my knees about to cry watching her performance until the outro started playing then I was on my knees praying BC MY DAD WAS SITTING THERE WITH ME" a fourth person recalled.

"She embarrassed me in front if my mom and dad, I was singing and dancing to her so g then she did that and my face turned red," someone said.

While everyone seemed to enjoy it, some fans pointed out Sabrina's double entrende playing on live television.

And let's all pretend like this is some kind of bold and daring move, as if making innuendos on a nationally televised program is somehow edgy and cool," someone pointed out.
