• Mel B Reportedly Hospitalized for Overdose: Personal Life Unravels

Mel B — real name Melanie Brown — has been living a real nightmare these past few weeks, and up until now it has been unclear which of the swirling rumors have actually been true. Speculation as to the status of Mel B's health began last week when she missed a live taping of the British version of "The X Factor," and while she returned to film the next night, she had visible bruises all over her upper body, leading many to wonder what had happened. At the same time, news leaked that Mel B had separated from her husband Stephen Belafonte and there was speculation that the relationship had turned violent. Now some sources close to the former Spice Girl are speaking out, claiming that she actually suffered an accidental overdose. According to Radar Online, Mel B "was hospitalized because she mixed tranquilizers, including Xanax, with alcohol. It was absolutely accidental, and not intentional. She wasn't suicidal, but the pressure of being back in London brought a lot of unresolved issues to the surface concerning being estranged from [her] mother, Andrea, and the rest of her family. While Mel has been given medical clearance to return, she feels extremely vulnerable ... a lot has gone down in just a short period of time. She has been paralyzed with fear for the past week living in the hotel, and the British press has been relentless in covering the story." Apparently, Mel's mother has claimed that Belafonte is abusive and her statements only fueled the rumors in the press. While he has denied all allegations, some of Belafonte's remarks in the press have made light of the situation. It is obvious that his wife is struggling a great deal and he has not exactly appeared to care much.
  • Bill Cosby's Legal Team Insists CNN is Trying to Ruin Him

Bill Cosby's uphill battle to save his career isn't even close to over yet. Instead, it seems like with each passing day we learn of a new accuser or someone offers up scathing details of an encounter with the actor that seem to prop up all of the other allegations that came before. When Beverly Johnson decided to speak out recently it seemed like a bit of a game-changer because no one seemed to really question her account and there was a shift in the way that the media covered this story. Cosby felt it enough to actually talk to a reporter in the hopes of dividing and conquering the media. It didn't work, so now Cosby's legal team is ripping into the media, one network at a time and they're starting with CNN.
  • Camille Cosby Defends Husband as Bill Cosby Scandal Deepens

Bill Cosby's life and business has been completely turned upside down over the last several weeks by a series of allegations that are shocking and impossible to ignore. Had just one or two women gone public with allegations of sexual misconduct, then Cosby would probably be standing on much stronger footing right now. Instead, more than two dozen women have come forward to paint the popular actor and comedian as, at best, manipulative and, at worst, a calculating serial rapist who has spent decades drugging and assaulting young women in Hollywood. Through it all, Cosby's wife of more than 50 years has stood by his side, keeping silent — at least until now. Camille Cosby has finally decided to speak up and out on behalf of her husband. She issued a simple statement that was intended to assure people that Cosby is indeed as good a man as the characters he has portrayed. "The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew," explained Camille. She also went on to liken this scandal involving her husband to the alleged UVA gang rape story that "Rolling Stone" ran before double-checking its sources.
  • Cosby Breaks Silence Amid Scandal, Plays Race Card to Divert Attention

While women seem to have come pouring out of the woodwork to make allegations against Bill Cosby, for the most part he has stayed tight-lipped. Obviously his legal team has advised him that it is probably in his best interest not to comment, but last Friday Cosby spoke with a Page Six reporter and in the matter of just a few words attempted to play the race card. Cosby has requested that, in spite of all the allegations, the media do their job and remain neutral while covering this scandal and its daily updates. Apparently, Cosby does not expect the majority of the press to be able to do that, as he said, "Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind." It is more than a little bit ironic that Cosby opted to make a statement that would separate journalists by color, especially at this point in time when racial tensions are perhaps at an all-time high thanks to high-profile cases in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York City. Cosby knew what he was tapping into when making that statement, and it also links to a bigger issue that is playing out in the form of protests all over the country.
  • Beverly Johnson Accuses Bill Cosby of Drugging Her in Essay for 'Vanity Fair'

How many more women are going to come forward with allegations of Bill Cosby drugging them, sexually assaulting them, or both? It seems like nearly every single day there is a new story and today's comes from a legendary supermodel Beverly Johnson. Rather than keeping her story to herself, Johnson decided to write an essay for "Vanity Fair," describing her encounters with Cosby in the mid-1980s.
  • Debbie Allen Struggling to Believe Allegations Made Against Friend Bill Cosby

As more allegations of sexual misconduct are leveled against Bill Cosby on almost a daily basis, his supporters seem to be scattering. That makes the people who are still firmly planted in his corner a bit more noteworthy. Debbie Allen has long been affiliated with the actor, and while promoting her new BET special "The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker," she weighed in on the whole scandal, admitting that she finds the allegations "hard to believe" because of the man she has believed Cosby to be. Allen recently discussed her thoughts with "Today's" Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee, explaining: "I don't think we can have this conversation honestly in two minutes. It begs to ask a bigger question. Where's the moral spine in America and in the world today? Because how are we raising our daughters, our sons? Where are we looking for the guidance of how we're supposed to live? Cosby gave us one of the greatest shows in history and redefined the perception of black people all over the world. "At the same time, I'm a part of One Billion Rising. This is a movement for women to stand up against violence and denigration of women. This is a tough situation, and it's just hard to believe. I don't know. I think that so much time has passed before they all have kind of have come together ... there's a big question that my mother asks me every day, 'Why now? Why are these people trying to destroy his legacy?'"
  • Hugh Hefner Distances Himself from Bill Cosby Amid Sexual Molestation Allegations at the Playboy Mansion

Whether Bill Cosby is guilty or innocent almost does not matter when it comes to his career. His name has already been tarnished enough that even longtime affiliates are taking three big steps back from the actor just in case he really did sexually assault more than two dozen women. Last week, Judy Huth not only accused Cosby of molesting her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, but she actually filed a police report. The statute of limitations will make it impossible for the actor to face any legal repercussions, but it does light a fire under the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate and, in doing so, it could possibly unearth other, much younger victims. For a long time Cosby called Hugh Hefner one of his best friends and it did not take the Playboy mogul long to respond to Huth's allegations. Apparently, Hefner wants to make sure that everyone understands that if anything criminal occurred at the mansion, it certainly was not OK with him.
  • CNN's Don Lemon Puts Foot in Mouth Again While Reporting from Ferguson

CNN's Don Lemon has been having a really rough time lately, and it basically has been his own doing. Last week he caught some major backlash after insinuating to Joan Tarshis, one of Bill Cosby's rape accusers, that she could have bit him to prevent the alleged assault. Now his reporting from Ferguson, Missouri, has also come under fire. Shortly after it was announced that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for fatally shooting 18-year-old Michael Brown, CNN's reporters were taking turns updating viewers at home on what was unfolding in front of them. Lemon and Anderson Cooper were discussing the chaos, and Lemon said that protestors were jumping on cars and he heard gunshots off in the distance. Then after a pause, Lemon followed up that assessment with: "Obviously, there's a smell of marijuana in the air." That detail was not obvious to anyone else, it seemed, as the rest of CNN's crew was too busy running for cover from tear gas and smoke bombs to notice any potential pot in the air. Once again, Twitter lit up with backlash against Lemon because he just cannot seem to keep from making insensitive comments on live television.
  • Did Bill Cosby Give Story to Press About Drug-Addicted Daughter to Silence Them on His Bad Behavior?

Every day at least one new Bill Cosby story hits the press, and they seem to be getting worse, if that is even possible. Countless women have come forward in the last two weeks, according to Yahoo!, telling similar stories that seem to paint Cosby at worst as a serial rapist or at least as a man who has used his fame to control others. Nearly every allegation has been made by someone who did not know the actor well, which is why the most recent story is so unsettling. According to Page Six, a reporter who used to work for the "National Enquirer" divulged details that, if true, kind of insinuate that Cosby is certainly not the best father, either. Supposedly, back in 1989 the magazine had a salacious story on Cosby swinging in Las Vegas with Sammy Davis Jr. and some show girls. At that point in time, Cosby's sitcom was the No. 1 show in America and he had been stereotyped as a father figure, so it was the kind of scandal he could not afford. Apparently, Cosby wheeled-and-dealed with the "Enquirer" and he gave it a different story to run, one about his then-23-year-old daughter Erinn, who had substance abuse issues. Cosby reportedly gave it all sorts of inside details on Erinn's drug and alcohol abuse with the understanding that it would not run the story on his own bad behavior.

Things are heating up for Bill Cosby as the legendary comedian and television star deals with the public scrutiny following various rape allegations. Leave it to Snoop Dogg to find humor in the shocking headlines. • Bill Cosby Doing Damage Control, Refuses to Discuss Rape Allegations

Bill Cosby has spent a decade defending himself against allegations made by various women. While the comedian has prided himself on having a fairly wholesome image with generations remembering him primarily as Dr. Huxtable, when not peddling Pudding Pops, a more sinister side has been alleged. In the last week or so, rumors again have begun swirling about Cosby potentially drugging and raping women with one of his accusers, Barbara Bowman, speaking out again. While Cosby has been outspoken in the past, vehemently denying that he has ever put an inappropriate hand on any woman, this time around he has chosen to let his legal team do all the damage control. According to a report by TMZ, his attorney came out swinging, saying, "Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work."
  • Justin Hartley Steps into Popular 'Young and the Restless' Role Vacated by Michael Muhney, Asks Fans for Feedback on His Portrayal of Popular Character

Justin Hartley might be a strong actor with several series — "Mistresses," "Revenge," "Smallville" — under his belt but that fact did not make taking on the popular role of Adam Newman on CBS's "The Young and the Restless" any easier. Michael Muhney exited the role last December under scandalous allegations, a situation that to this day does not add up. His departure left fans outraged, with many ultimately deciding that "Y&R" was no longer worth their time. When Hartley accepted the task of bringing the character back to Genoa City, he knew he was going to have his work cut out for him. He has decided to ask the fans for feedback on his portrayal.
  • Michael Muhney Steps Over 'The Young and the Restless' Drama to Juggle Four Different Upcoming Film Roles

Michael Muhney has moved on from daytime drama and seems excited for his legion of fans to see the new projects he is working on. The actor spent four years slaving away on CBS's soundstage, breathing life into Adam Newman on "The Young and the Restless" before being fired under scandalous circumstances in December. While the actor admitted in August that he had been negotiating a return to the soap, which ultimately fell through, his fans sat on the fence about even the possibility of going back to the soap they felt had treated him badly. Muhney is now working on four different film roles, proving he was more than capable of landing other projects when he finally decided to move on.
  • Stephen Collins' World Continues To Crumble As Talent Agency Drops Him Amid Child Molestation Allegations

In the matter of just several days Stephen Collins has gone from being an actor most often cast as a father figure to being an out of work actor knee deep in allegations of sexual abuse. Collins is in the midst of a messy divorce from his second wife, Faye Grant and somewhere along the way an audio tape leaked to the press that has caused NYPD to re-open an investigation. The audio was supposedly recorded in 2012 in a therapy session between the couple and on it Collins allegedly admits to molesting young girls in the past. It's the kind of scandal that causes everyone to quickly sever ties and now Collins talent agency has also cut him.
