Movie adaptations of popular video games aren't always the best, but we're still holding out hope for Assassin's Creed, based on the Ubisoft franchise. Starring Michael Fassbender, this upcoming film has a December 2016 release date, which leaves plenty of time for filming (which starts in the Fall of 2015) and post production. A new interview with Ubisoft Motion Pictures CEO Jean-Julien Baronnet has us even more excited because he's drawing comparisons between this new movie with that of Christopher Nolan's acclaimed Batman Begins and Ridley Scott's iconic Blade Runner.
