    Beck is still preparing to move into the Morning Phase of his career, and it seems like this one is going to be a slow-moving affair. Three weeks before the official release of his 12th studio album, Beck has premiered a second song off the album, "Waking Light," and revealed details about the record in an interview with NPR.

    Beck's new album "Morning Phase" is just a little over a month away, with a newly set release date o Feb. 25. As promised (and teased) last week, the prolific alt-rock singer was due to drop a new single "Blue Moon" today at 10 a.m. EST, and of course, he delivered. The folksy, acoustic-driven track debuted this morning (Jan. 20) on radio and arrived on streaming services such as Spotify soon after.

    Beck's long-anticipated 12th studio album "Morning Phase" finally has received a release date beyond the ever-vague "February." Today (Jan. 17), the alt-rocker released a teaser video for the new album and its lead single "Blue Moon" on hos official YouTube page and revealed that the "Morning Phase"'s release date is Feb. 25.

    Alt-rocker Beck has entered battle with Inglorious Bastered actor Til Schweiger, who played Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz in the film and is one of the top filmmakers in Germany. According to gossip site TMZ, Schweiger claims that Beck destroyed his Malibu rental property. He had been renting it to the rocker for $11,000 per month from 2010 until February of this year.

This edition features a ton of great musicians covering love-inducing tracks from other artists.
