• Diplo, Flume, Cashmere Cat and More on Mix for Nina Las Vegas’s Final Triple J Show [LISTEN]

    After a decade of ruling the Australian airwaves (and beyond) as host of several Triple J Radio shows, electronic DJ, producer and tastemaker Nina Agzarian, aka Nina Las Vegas, has left the station. For her final Mix Up Exclusives show this weekend, she solicited 30 minute mixes from Diplo, Anna Lunoe, Flight Facilities, Flume, Cashmere Cat, RL Grime, Swick and Levins. The result is a 4-hour long celebration of NLV's lasting influence full of new music (as well as some throwbacks) from each of the guests. Listen to the mix here:

And now, they're bringing their musical partnership to the stage together. During a live show on March 3, the "One Last Time" singer and Cashmere Cat gave "Adore" its official live debut.

    Norweigan electronic, R&B producer Cashmere Cat, real name Magnus August Høiberg, is readying to go on tour later this month as a support act for Ariana Grande on her Honeymoon Tour across North America and he has announced dates of his own to coincide with hers. While Grande will be taking over arenas across North America in Los Angeles, New York City, Miami and elsewhere, Cashmere Cat will be hosting his own events in concert halls and theaters later that night in the same cities, while also making a few festival stops at Ultra Music Festival and Coachella. The Grande, Tinashe and Ludacris collaborator has developed a diverse and potent career on his own and the side tour will give him the chance to spotlight his own productions in a way he might not be able to opening for the "Break Free" singer's crowd.

    Disney pop princess Ariana Grande is getting set to the hit road this winter and spring for a whirlwind arena tour across North America. Before she does, though, it appears that the "Love Me Harder" singer has been working on some new music with her producer BFF Cashmere Cat, who produced the record "Be My Baby" for her. The ethereal and sensual R&B collaboration was a change of pace from the upbeat Zedd collab "Break Free" that was found on "My Everything." She hinted on Twitter that she was cutting a new track for the "Wedding Bells" producer's album, via "edm.com." Cashmere Cat will be joining Grande on the Honeymoon tour as the opener, so it would be smart to get to the shows early.

    If there's one thing to be said about the production on Ariana Grande's new album My Everything, it would not be that it's raw or stripped down. Though the album itself is all shiny, today (Sept. 12) her collaborator Cashmere Cat released a new edit of their track "Be My Baby," taking away quite a bit of the polish and making the song as a whole feel much more intimate.
