• Future, Zaytoven Announce Mixtape 'Beast Mode,' Share Track 'Real Sisters' [LISTEN]

    Atlanta rapper Future has announced the release of a new mixtape titled "Beast Mode," a collaborative effort with producer Zaytoven — the cover artwork is above. The tape is set to drop Jan. 15, and on New Year's Eve, Zaytoven shared the project's first track, titled "Real Sisters," which you can check out below. Zaytoven's beat for the track is based around a keyboard line that sounds like it was ripped straight from a 8-bit video game soundtrack, while Future spits his Auto-Tuned, half-sung flow over the top of it.   • Chief Keef Shares New Track "That Be Me" [LISTEN]

    Chicago rapper, Chief Keef, has rung in the new year with a new track for his fans titled, "That Be Me," which you can check out here. Keef doesn't so much rap as sing-speak with Autotune over YG On Da Beat's spacy production, which honesty sounds much better than most of the beats that Keef cooks up for himself. It's not clear if this track will ultimately appear on one of Keef's many upcoming projects or if it's simply a standalone single.

    Though Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky hasn't been as busy during 2014 as many of his peers have been, he's intent on having the last word on the entire year with his long-awaited new track "Pretty Flacko 2," produced by Nez & Rio, which you can check out below. As its title suggests, the song is a sequel to Rocky's track "Pretty Flacko," which was released almost exactly two years ago on Jan. 1, 2012. Rocky debuted "Pretty Flacko 2" about two months ago at a show in London, and since then it's become one of the year's most anticipated singles.
  • Gucci Mane Releases New Album 'East Atlanta Santa' [LISTEN]

    Even behind bars, Gucci Mane seems as prolific as ever. The Atlanta rapper released his mixtape alongside the Honorable C-Note titled 'C-Note vs. Gucci Mane' on Christmas and also on the same day, released his thirteenth album, 'East Atlanta Santa.' Gucci just keeps on giving with more material from a seemingly endless discography of music for a man who has been incarcerated on gun and drug charges for more then a year. 'East Atlanta Santa' is another prototypical Gucci album with southern-styled trap beats and lyrics that pay homage to the hood and that lifestyle.
  • Gucci Mane Releases Gucci vs. C-Note Mixtape Featuring 2 Chainz, Chief Keef, Rich Homie Quan

    Gucci Mane is trying to get on Santa's nice list. Currently incarcerated for gun and drugs charges until sometime in 2016, the "Lemonade" rapper released a 23-track mixtape alongside frequent collaborator, Honorable C-Note on Christmas Day. The mixtape has features from Rich Homie Quan, Chief Keef, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, PeeWee Longway, Pizzle and Young Dolph. It has a mix of previously released records, as well as some new records, which must have been recorded before Mane was sent away.
  • Chief Keef Shares New Song 'Kill Him,' From Upcoming Mixtape 'Crashing Computers' [LISTEN]

    Chief Keef's upcoming mixtape "Crashin' Computers" is set for release next week on New Year's Eve, and today the Chicago rapper has shared one of the tape's tracks "Kill Him," which you can check out below. The track features a sputtering and incredibly cluttered beat courtesy of Young Chop, while Keef mumbles consistently behind the beat about killing someone. If you already hate Chief Keef, then he's definitely not going to win you over with this track.
  • Ludacris 'Burning Bridges' EP Available as Free Download on Google Play [LISTEN]

    Ludacris's new EP, "Burning Bridges," is available as a free download through Google Play. The effort contains six tracks including "Good Lovin" featuring Miguel and "Money" featuring Rick Ross. It will serve as a nice treat for fans anxiously awaiting the Atlanta rapper's next full-length release, "Ludaversal," out March 31, "XXL" notes. In August, Luda spoke with "Billboard" about his upcoming album. "But I can definitely tell you in a nutshell there are a bunch of songs that define moments and are very emotional just for the simple fact this will be my most personal album to date in terms of talking about a lot of things that have gone on in my life and just really diving into who Chris Bridges is as a person. So that's what "Ludaversal" is all about," he said. "Burning Bridges" is Luda's first stab at new music since his 2010 release "Battle of the Sexes," which featured tons of big-name guest spots. Lil' Kim, Nicki Minaj and Monica handled the female side of things while Trey Songz, Flo Rida and Gucci Mane represented the males.
  • Gucci Mane Tweets Fans to Write Him in Prison

    Back in October, Gucci Mane revealed his future plans in an open letter shared by MTV, and now he is asking fans to write him in prison. He recently tweeted out his address.   • Chief Keef's Album 'Nobody' Drops Next Week, Will Feature Yeezy

    Chief Keef may have had a rough year, being dropped by his label Interscope in October, but he is planning on closing out the year with a bang by dropping his sophomore album "Nobody" next week on Tuesday, Dec. 16. No big announcement was made concerning the album's release — rather, "XXL" reports that the album simply appeared as a pre-order on iTunes today, Dec. 10. "Nobody" features 12 tracks with only two guest appearances: Tadoe, who appears on "Oh Lawd," and Kanye West, who appears on the album's title track, which was originally previewed in August. There is still no word yet as to the status of Keef's long-awaited "Bang 3" album, which was promised for release as far back as March 2014, but still has not arrived.   • Gucci Mane Shares New Track "Dead People" Featuring Raury [LISTEN]

    Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Raury have teamed up for a new track titled "Dead People," which you can check out here. The track moves along with a pretty gnarly electronic beat and some quirky synths, while Gucci delivers the hook and the first verse. Raury comes out on top, however, delivering a rapid-fire verse that totally brightens up the song's murky, relaxed tempo. As the single's artwork suggests, the titular "Dead People" refer to hundred dollar bills with pictures of Ben Franklin on them, which can't accurately be called "dead presidents" since Franklin was never president.

    This coming Friday, November 28 (yes, Black Friday), Chicago rapper Chief Keef will be dropping his latest mixtape "Mansion Musick," and today he's shared the artwork and tracklist, which you can check out below. According to Fake Shore Drive, the mixtape will feature 21 tracks, most of which were produced by either Keef or Young Chop, though Metro, Bennyman, Ke On The Track, and The Brain also contribute.
  • Gucci Mane Shares 'Trap House 5' Cover Art, Hints at Release

    He may be locked up, but Gucci Mane has not missed a beat when it comes to releasing music. GuWop recently shared the cover art for "Trap House 5" and hinted at its release. Just last month, the Atlanta rapper released "Trap God 3" and penned an open letter to fans. In addition to the many solo projects he has been releasing, Gucci even squeezed in a collaborative mixtape with "Chief Keef" titled "Big Gucci Sosa." Back in August, Gucci revealed his plan to drop eight new projects and he is sticking to his guns. He leaked the cover art for "Trap House 5" via Twitter, as noted by "XXL."

    Chicago rapper Chief Keef has shared a new song titled "Trap" featuring a guest verse from Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo, which you can check out below. In true Chief Keef fashion, the track features some atmospheric, off-kilter production with skittering beats and mumbled vocals.
