  • Gucci Mane to Host Mike WiLL Made-It's 'Ransom 2' Mixtape, Causes Delay

    Earlier this week, Mike WiLL Made-It revealed the release date for his forthcoming Ransom 2 mixtape and while fans have been anticipating its release, they’ll have to hold out just a little while longer to hear the project in its entirety. The Atlanta-based producer shared that Ransom 2 had been delayed for a special contribution from Gucci Mane, who will host the tape.

    There was hope for Gucci Mane fans just a few weeks ago when his label 1017 Records posted on Instagram that the Trap House rapper was going to be released from prison in March. It raised a few eyebrows from those who knew about Guwop's previously announced release date in March 2017, however it could have been for any number of reasons and his label should be a reliable source right? Right? No. The label is recanting that story and moving back to the original, government approved release date of March 6, 2017.

    Gucci Mane has been in prison since 2013, though that has not stopped his music from being released at a remarkable rate. This music is all leftover recordings from an era where Guwop was a free man and according to his label 1017 Records, the day where Gucci gets out is coming sooner than many may have expected. In a new Instagram post, the label revealed that Guwop will be getting out in March 2016.
