  • 'Y&R' Corey Sligh Beaten After Being Hit By Car on Thanksgiving

This past Thanksgiving is likely one Corey Sligh will never forget. The actor, who has popped up on "The Young and the Restless" in various roles, stopped at a Rite Aid drug store in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Alisa Berhorst, and one comment lead to a violent altercation, according to "The Hollywood Reporter." The couple was originally making a quick stop before going to help feed those who were less privileged when a car in the parking lot was hopping curbs and doing donuts. Sligh noticed that the two men inside the vehicle were narrowly missing hitting people, and he suggested that they slow down. Instead of doing that, they purposely hit Sligh with the car and then got out and beat him! The men eventually sped off, but later crashed the car and were arrested by police. Sligh is still hospitalized at Cedars Sinai, where he will stay for at least a few more days. He reached out to fans via his Instagram, saying: "Hey kids, went to feed some people last night who don't have blessed thanksgivings and along the way got struck by a drunk driver! Have a surgery to go and another couple days in the hospital but should be fine soon! Thankful to still be on this great planet! Love y'all!"
  • Tori Spelling Will Continue 'True Tori' Even Though It's Ruining Her Marriage

If you are someone who has been watching Tori Spelling's train wreck of a reality show "True Tori" on Lifetime, then you have already seen firsthand what a mess her marriage is. When her husband Dean McDermott's affair became public knowledge nearly a year ago, the actress decided to make the personal crisis the platform for her latest reality show, and so True Tori was born. While McDermott initially agreed to look like a fool on camera and was willing to shoulder most of the blame during their filmed therapy sessions, almost a year has passed, and it seemed that they have gotten nowhere. McDermott is now refusing to film anymore because it, quite obviously, is not fixing anything, according to "Us Weekly." Spelling sat for an interview today on "The Meredith Vieira Show," and she once again explained and tried to justify continuing on with a show that, at this point, might actually be killing her marriage. She said, "We let it all hang out. I don't [think I reveal too much] because if everything hadn't been made as public as it was, I would've chosen to deal with this privately with my husband. We're talking about the affair that my husband had almost a year ago. I chose to deal with it because it was my journey, it was my truth. Women everywhere go through this and I wanted to put it out there. It's completely cathartic for me and it's very individual.
  • Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott Headed for Split After Sharing Marital Problems on 'True Tori'

It has been nearly a year since Tori Spelling caught her husband of eight years, Dean McDermott, cheating on her with a woman named Emily Goodhand. Rather than buckle down and work together to try and resolve the multitude of problems that exist between them, Spelling instead decided to use their messy marriage as the foundation for a new reality show "True Tori." Viewers have watched as, week after week, Spelling has painted her husband as a villain. The on-camera meltdowns have often happened in front of their children, leaving many to think a split might be in everyone's best interest. Now it looks like that might be the only option left for these two. Instead of realizing just how badly the first season of "True Tori" really was and that it was not helping her marriage, Spelling rallied for a second season. A few weeks ago, McDermott said he is finished ripping open his veins for the sake of reality television, but by the time he finally reached that conclusion it might have already been too late to salvage things.
  • Amanda Bynes's Parents Surrendering Conservatorship, Moving To Texas

The family struggle for control over Amanda Bynes's well-being seems to be coming to a screeching halt this week, as her parents are headed back to court once again. This time it will be different, though. Rather than fighting for conservatorship, they are instead ready to transfer everything over to someone else. According to a report by TMZ, Bynes's parents will be filing documents with the court soon to surrender the conservatorship over to a mental health professional. Bynes's finances will likely then be placed in the hands of an official money manager. After fighting with their daughter for years, it seems her parents are conceding that they cannot effectively help her at this point. They are hoping that if control is placed in the hands of someone else, then Bynes will perhaps stop lashing out so viciously and start to listen. Not only are her parents kind of washing their hands of the dysfunction, but they are also leaving California altogether. After a few years of drama, they are said to be ready to move to Texas to be near their older — and likely saner —daughter instead.
