• Snoop Dogg Drops New Verse on iLoveMakonnen's "21st Street" Remix [LISTEN]

    Atlanta rapper ILoveMakonnen has shared a remix of his song "21st Street" featuring a new verse from Snoop Dogg, which you can check out below. The song originally appeared on Makonnen's 2014 mixtape Drink More Water 3, and again on Drink More Water 4, and according to XXL, this new remix was promised last year, when Makonnen shared its artwork (seen up above) through his Twitter account. The track features some pretty solid atmospheric production courtesy of DJ Spinz and Dun Deal, but Snoop is the real star here, delivering his verse with the same type of precise yet still relaxed flow that he's famous for.

    Weezy fans, Lil Wayne has some great news for you. The "Start A Fire" rapper has revealed the release date for his upcoming mixtape Sorry For The Wait 2. Regardless of what the Green Bay Packers do this weekend, win or lose presumably, S4TW2 will be released this Tuesday, Jan. 21. He made the announcement with a video previewing a remix of ILoveMakonnen's tune "Maneuvering."

    Superstar hip-hop producer Mike WiLL Made It has shared the music video for his track "F--k U Expect" featuring Jace, which you can check out below. The Max-directed video finds Jace, of the groups Retro Sushi and Two-9, hanging around a gas station drinking beer and, later on, in the middle of a busy highway. The video is incredibly short, coming in at just a minute and a half, but that is the perfect amount of time to get the gist of what Mike WiLL and Jace are trying to do and gives the track a cool, "Madvillainy" vibe.     iLoveMakonnen is set to drop his new EP Drink More Water 5 this year, and now he's given us a taste with the new track "Super Clean," which he produced along with Phantom Power, according to Noisey, who premiered the track. The new OVO signee talks about making b*tches "go dumb" over a mystical beat. He also talks about being "the hottest in the town," posing for GQ, girls getting their periods, playing Madison Square Garden on New Year's Eve, and having "super clean" cash.

    Atlanta rapper Trinidad Jame$ has announced the release of a new album titled "No One Is SaFe," which will drop Jan. 20. According to "The Fader," the album will be a free release and feature guest appearances by iLoveMakonnen, OG Maco, Peewee Longway, Offset, Problem, Lil Debbie, Scotty ATL and Big K.R.I.T. Trinidad has shared the album's lead single "BlackMan Pt. 2," produced by Diplo, which you can check out below. "I'm a huge fan of Diplo's production and spirit as an artist," Trinidad explained to "The Fader" about "BlackMan Pt. 2." "I heard the beat on SoundCloud and it inspired me to get focused on what type of message I really wanted to relay this year with my music and as an artist — and also a man in this world, which is the most important part of being in this game."     Drake label OVO signee Makonnen Sheran, professionally known as iLoveMakonnen, made his television debut last night, Dec. 9, coincidently or not on a Tuesday, to perform his smash single "Tuesday." Accompanied by The Roots but not Drake, iLoveMakonnen crooned through the Grammy-nominated single with his unique, slightly raspy delivery for the audience on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." ILoveMakonnen gets into the Christmas spirit by wearing a Santa hat for his performance and bathing the stage in red light, via "Complex." The performance comes on the heels of the announcement that "Tuesday" was nominated for Best Rap Performance alongside Drake in their remix of "Tuesday." The Atlanta singer/rapper is now 25 and has been tabbed by many publications as an artist to watch out for following his EP "I Love Makonnen." "Tuesday" has inspired other remixes, including an unofficial one from "Mr. Steal Your Girl" Trey Songz and Chris Brown. It has become a club smash, notably on Tuesdays, and another song that has become a pop-culture phrase. While the track may actually speak to the struggle that many may face working graveyard shifts on the weekend just to make ends meet, "Tuesday" has also come to represent the everyday partygoers who hit the clubs every night.
