He has pumped out eight solo albums, including 2014's "Careful with That Axe." Now, he is headed out on the road to give several new songs their live debuts.ANTI Music reports J5 & TC will be hitting up much of the southwest this February with a 12-date tour kicking off in Ramona, California, Feb. 8.John 5 made a point to mention that the tour will focus on newer songs from Careful, but will not leave out content from his first three albums "Vertigo," "Songs for Sanity" and "The Devil Knows My Name."The Michigan native has always branched out musically on his solo stuff, and he began using country picking on his 2004 debut."A lot of people enjoy the country picking because they don't hear it all the time," he told guitar.com. "Whenever an instrumental thing comes out, we know what it's going to sound like. But I really enjoy playing like that, and I promised myself when I first did it, 'I'm gonna do some country picking on here.
