Music Festival has announced its lineup for 2015, once again avoiding "white whale" headliners but gathering appealing names nonetheless with Kendrick Lamar, Modest Mouse and Robert Plant (who we'll assume will be playing with his Sensational Space Shifters band, although the official poster doesn't say). The festival will once again take place over four days (as it did during 2011-'13) and will once again be held over Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25) at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.

    Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg are hard at work on their own respective albums, and it appears there may be some collaboration being done between them. Snoop Dogg posted on his Instagram a simple photo of him and fellow West Coast representative K. Dot in the studio with the caption "Work." It is not clear what they are working on, but speculation says it could be a feature on Snoop's upcoming album "Bush" that is being produced by Pharrell.

Now Mohrle is being molded by the same man who helped push Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, The Game and many others to superstardom, not to mention creating one of the most recognizable company's in music with Beats Electronics. Yeah, the kid knows he is in good hands.

Jay Z, Common, Kendrick Lamar and West's wife, Kim Kardashian, paid tribute to the artist in a video montage.

    In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, MTV will air its programming tomorrow, Jan. 19, in black and white. The network wants to get millennials talking about race as part of its #TheTalk campaign. It will mark the first time the music television network will broadcast sans color in 34 years, the Associated Press reports. "The device of turning us black and white is going to be really, visually a jolt to say, you know what, there are differences and if we are going to ever get to a freer, more equal society, the best thing we can begin to do is talk about them," MTV President Stephen Friedman said.

    Superstar hip-hop producer Mike WiLL Made It has shared the music video for his track "F--k U Expect" featuring Jace, which you can check out below. The Max-directed video finds Jace, of the groups Retro Sushi and Two-9, hanging around a gas station drinking beer and, later on, in the middle of a busy highway. The video is incredibly short, coming in at just a minute and a half, but that is the perfect amount of time to get the gist of what Mike WiLL and Jace are trying to do and gives the track a cool, "Madvillainy" vibe.
