Less than two weeks from the event itself, ABC has finally revealed the lineup for its Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, perhaps the most apostrophized title in this history of television. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Blondie, Icona Pop, and in case you hadn't seen enough of her yet, Miley Cyrus will perform at Times Square this year. -
RIAA Issues Platinum/Gold Single and Album Certifications for Fall 2013
Some of music's biggest acts are getting an early Christmas gift of gold and platinum. Today (Dec. 11), the RIAA released its list of songs and albums that have gone gold or platinum over the last two months, and the long list features both familiar names and some unexpected gems. -

Somewhere between the new album "Yours Truly" and the success on Nickelodeon's "iCarly" among other programs, people forgot that Ariana Grande had experience singing onstage as well. The vocalist had performed before in musicals such as "13," "Cuba Libre" and "A Snow White Christmas." Grande reminded the audience of her Broadway chops with some less-than-Broadway-kosher musical numbers when she appeared on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." -
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Have Found A Star in Mary Lambert, Vocalist Performs 'Same Love' at VMA's
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were once less-than-mainstream names, and now that they've hot the big time, the duo is exposing the public to a slew of other names that helped make 2012's "The Heist" one of the biggest albums of the year, including "Thrift Shop" vocalist Wanz and "Can't Hold Us" guest Ray Dalton. Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards, Mary Lambert, the vocalist carrying the hook for "One Love" made her big debut while performing the song with the duo. She had performed the song with Macklemore on "The Colbert Report," but nothing close to the viewership of the VMA's. -
