• Red Bull Music Academy Heads to Paris in '15

    On the heels of its 15th year, the Red Bull Music Academy has announced it will be taking its 30-day session back to Europe to the brooding streets of Paris, France. Setting up shop in Paris, RBMA will inaugurate its 16th session in 2015. Details have not emerged as to when the academy will start in 2015, but Red Bull will begin accepting applications in January, via "XLR8R." The academy is a 30-day gauntlet of lectures, workshops, events and other RBMA activities, all while having access to some of the best studio space in the world, where artists can collaborate and hone their craft under the guidance and supervision of incredibly talented and innovative artists. Paris was chosen, according to the RBMA statement, because of "Its reinvigorated clubbing scene has garnered attention as one of the most exciting, creative and colourful nightlife communities, and its cult venues and longstanding art institutions provide a firm nod to the city's grand, far-reaching cultural history." The city has also fostered some of the most unique electronic music producers like Daft Punk, Justice, Mr. Oizo, Gessafelstein and others.

It seems Kardashian would much prefer a black-tie event with a red carpet over West's family get-togethers anyway, doesn't it? There have been so many rumors about the status of West and Kardashian's marriage lately, with a lot of speculation on the notion that they are basically separated. At its best, this relationship has always resembled more of a business relationship than anything else. Kardashian supposedly met with a divorce attorney last month in order to game-plan how to dismantle things if West makes good on his promise of moving to Paris next year full time. He supposedly wants North with him, but Kardashian is determined to keep her daughter in Los Angeles with her, so things could get messy fast between these two.

Kardashian reportedly feels like their marriage is just a business arrangement and that West puts his new family way down on the list of priorities. Their living situation has also turned into a major bone of contention, as Kardashian has been living at her mother Kris Jenner's house for nearly two years now. Not only does the couple not have a home of their own, but West reportedly has every intention of making Paris his permanent residence next year, and little North West will be going with him. Kardashian is adamant about remaining in Los Angeles and keeping their baby with her.

Apparently, Kardashian expects that a split will get messy, and her biggest concern is the inevitable fight for custody of North West. As it is, West is saying that he intends to move to Paris and make it his permanent home beginning early next year. He is planning on bringing his daughter with him even if Kardashian wants to stay behind in L.A. This type of controlling behavior is one of the things that has reportedly driven Kardashian away from West. She assumed that once they were married things would improve, but just like in her two previous marriages, she has learned the hard way that making it legal changes nothing. In fact, if anything she has just made things more difficult. The fallout from her marriage to Kris Humphries was so disastrous that Jenner has reportedly warned her daughter that her career cannot handle another divorce.

She also kind of likes the idea of Blue Ivy picking up French as a second language in a natural way by living in Paris.
