• Rich Homie Quan Christmas Carols 'Silent Night' and 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' [WATCH]

'Tis the season to be thankful, spread joy and of course sing songs. Rich Homie Quan, whose preferred medium is normally rhythmic spoken word, has stepped a bit outside of his normal comfort zone to sing some timeless Christmas classics. Dequantes Lamar, better known as Rich Homie Quan, has teamed up with XXL to sing "Silent Night" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." The "Type Of Way" rapper does his very best to hit all the high notes, but in the end really just captures the Christmas spirit of the songs. Watch the beautiful rendition of "Silent Night" below.
  • Fabolous Unveils Tracklist for 'The Young OG Project'

Earlier this month, Fabolous announced the release date for his forthcoming album "The Young OG Project." He also dropped a trailer, and now he is unveiling more deets with the release of the album's tracklist, which features Rich Homie Quan, Chris Brown and more. According to "XXL," "The Young OG Project" will also feature French Montana and Kevin Hart makes a guest appearance on a track called "Cinnamon Apple." Fans have been patiently waiting for Fab to drop an album for some time now. He first announced he would release "Loso's Way 2" in 2010, but with the album's many delays, it seems the Brooklyn rhymer decided to take a different route, naming his forthcoming release after a track from his critically acclaimed "Soul Tape 3." And for those who enjoyed hip-hop in the 1990s, "The Young OG Project" will be right up your alley. Fab recently said the album will be "very '90s-inspired and '90s-themed."
  • YG Shares Minimalist '2015 Flow' Music Vid [WATCH]

Compton rapper YG has shared the music video for his recent single "2015 Flow," which you can check out below. The refreshingly minimalist video features YG in a dark room with red and black walls, simply rapping to the camera in a single, unbroken take. As the camera gradually zooms back, it is revealed that DJ Mustard, the track's producer, is sitting on a couch throwing cash around — because this is a rap video, after all. You can check out YG's "2015 Flow" music video here:
  • Rich Homie Quan Shares 'Ain't Trippin'' Feat. Young Thug, 'Blah Blah Blah' Remix [LISTEN]

Fresh off the success of their recent Rich Gang mixtape, Atlanta rappers Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug have shared a new collaborative track titled "Ain't Trippin'," which you can check out below. It is not clear if this is a leftover from their Rich Gang sessions, though it could also be a new cut, since their co-conspirator Birdman does not make an appearance. Though the track definitely has a typical hip-hop beat — typical for 2014, anyway — there seems to be more singing than rapping going on. You can check out Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug's "Ain't Trippin'" here: Quan and Thug's Rich Gang mixtape "Tha Tour: Part 1" was released in September and spawned six singles: "Tell Em (Lies)," "Imma Ride," "Freestyle," "Soldier," "Milk Marie" and "Flava." "Tha Tour: Part 1" was Quan and Thug's most-recent, full-length release, and neither have yet to release a studio album. Thug claims his debut album will be titled "Tha Carter VI," since Lil Wayne plans on "Tha Carter V" on being his last, while Quan's upcoming album has yet to be given a title. "You can expect Drake on my album. You can expect Boosie on my album," Quan told "Hot New Hip-Hop." "You can expect Thug on there. You can expect Wayne ... I gotta get Nicki on there." "That's why I'm still waiting," he continued, "That's why you ain't heard it yet. I'm still working on it. I gotta get Big Sean on there. A lot of these my idols. People I looked up to coming into the game." In other Rich Homie Quan news, the 25-year-old rapper also shared a remix of his track "Blah Blah Blah" yesterday, featuring new verses from Ty Dolla $ign, Fabolous and Dej Loaf. You can check out that track here:
  • Rich Homie Quan Shares New Track "Around The World" From Upcoming 'Sour Diesel 17' Mixtape [LISTEN]

Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has shared a new track titled "Around The World," which you can check out here. The Metro Boomin and Zaytoven-produced track features Quan rapping about all the places he's been around the world, from Los Angeles to Wisconsin (twice, apparently) to New York. Come to think of it, the only places he claims to have been to are in the United States, so his version of "around the world" is pretty limited.
  • Travi$ Scott Shares 'Mamacita' Music Vid Feat. Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, T.I. [WATCH]

Houston rapper Travi$ Scott has shared the music video for his song “Mamacita” featuring Atlanta rappers Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, which you can check out below. The freaky video finds the three rappers — as well as their label head T.I., who makes a cameo — in a desolate parking lot, featuring plenty of scantily clad women in glow-in-the-dark, zombie makeup. If that was not strange enough, Travi$ is introduced wearing one of those creepy Hannibal Lecter masks, so this is not your typical hip-hop video, though there is an obligatory shot of a Beats Pill. You can check out the music video for Travi$ Scott’s “Mamacita” featuring Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan here:
  • Jeezy Shares Music Video For "Black Eskimo" [WATCH]

Jeezy has shared the music video for his Seen It All track "Black Eskimo," which you can check out below. The Motion Family-directed clip features Jeezy rapping in semi-black and white (the only color that shines through is gold, of course) against a bare white backdrop, featuring appearances masked women, a snake, some huskies, and for some reason, a stove (though there might be some old-fashioned misogyny attached to that last one).
  • A$AP Ferg Shares 'This Side' Featuring YG [LISTEN]

A$AP Ferg and YG's BestCoast Connection Tour kicks off tomorrow, Nov. 13, so it is only appropriate that they would record a new song together to celebrate. "This Side" features a highly repetitive trap beat courtesy of THE FAM, while both Ferg and YG deliver some brilliantly eccentric and nimble verses. You can check out A$AP Ferg and YG's "This Side" here: "Hot New Hip-Hop" points out that THE FAM's beat for "This Side" is pretty much identical to the beat in Danny Seth's "I Arise Because," produced by Ducko Mcfli and JGramm Beats, which is scandalous. You can check out Danny Seth's "I Arise Because" here and hear for yourself:
  • DJ Drama, Young Jeezy, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan Release 'Right Back' Video [WATCH]

Taken from his upcoming artist album, "Quality Street Music 2," power disc jockey DJ Drama has released the video for his single "Right Back." It features a myriad of Atlanta DJs, as he tabs Young Thug, Young Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan to deliver bars on the track. Directed by Be El Be, the video features your standard fair of hip-hop video themes. You have people dancing around cars, fancy cars and gambling. As noted by Complex, he then gets the rest of Atlanta for cameos in the video as guys like T.I., Big Sean and Birdman all make appearances.
  • YG, ASAP Ferg Announce 'BestCoast Connection' Tour Dates For November [FULL SCHEDULE]

  • Rich Homie Quan Drops "Blah Blah Blah" Video [WATCH]

Although Rich Homie Quan has been putting out new material and working on his new record, he revisited 2013's I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In yesterday and released a video for the track "Blah Blah Blah," which features production from Izzie the Producer. Quan's fellow Rich Gang members Birdman and Young Thug make cameos in the clip, though they don't contribute to the track.
