• 'Furious 7' Soundtrack: Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, T.I. Contribute

    Movie soundtracks are becoming bigger and more star-studded as films look for more ways to gain an edge on their competitors and artists seek an additional outlet to promote their brand. The seventh edition of the incredibly successful "Fast & Furious" movie franchise, titled "Furious 7," has released the tracklist for the upcoming film that is slated to hit theaters on April 3.

  • Kid Ink Drops "Ride Out" Featuring Tyga, Wale, YG and Rich Homie Quan

    Kid Ink leads the charge in this new track from the upcoming "Furious 7" soundtrack. "Ride Out" features Tyga, Wale, YG and Rich Homie Quan, but it is Ink who owns the 3 1/2-minute track with the introductory verse and hook. "Furious 7" hits theaters April 3 and the soundtrack will be out March 17, "HotNewHipHop" noted.

  • Yo Gotti Shares 'Concealed' Music Video from Latest Mixtape [WATCH]

    Memphis rapper Yo Gotti has shared the music video for the title track to his Concealed mixtape, which you can check out below. The Phillflyboy-directed clip shows Gotti hanging around what is presumably his hometown with a bunch of his friends, riding his slick white car around town. Gotti must be pretty proud of this car, because there's even a close-up of its engine.

  • Rich Homie Quan Drops New Song "Have You Ever" Ahead Of New EP and Album [LISTEN]

    Rich Homie Quan has been explored accessible sounds on tracks like "Blah Blah Blah" and of course "Type of Way," and now he's come back poppier than ever on his new feel-good song "Have You Ever." Featuring production from KC Da Beatmonster, Quan asks listeners a series of questions, such as, "Have you ever seen the end of a rainbow?"

  • Travi$ Scott Says Album 'Rodeo' Will Be Released in March

    Houston rapper Travi$ Scott has revealed the tentative release for his debut solo artist album Rodeo. In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Scott revealed that the album would be arriving sometime in March. It was a very typical way for the "Don't Play" rapper to make the announcement that was raised by a mother who was a retailer for Louis Vuitton. He commented on the meaning of the album title, Rodeo in the same interview.

  • Yo Gotti Announces Mixtape 'Concealed,' Shares Track 'Real Rap' Feat. Jadakiss [LISTEN]

    Though his long-awaited album "The Art of Hustle" does not seem to be dropping anytime soon, Memphis rapper Yo Gotti is giving us a new mixtape instead, titled "Concealed" — that is the cover art above. According to "The Fader," the tape will be hosted by DJ Drama and is set to drop at any moment this week, but before it does, Gotti has shared one of its songs "Real Rap" featuring Jadakiss, which you can check out below. The track features some refreshingly soulful and hard-hitting production from The Youngstars, while Gotti and Jadakiss delivered some verses with their signature raspy flows.   • Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan Share New Track "M.O.M. (Mind On Money)" [LISTEN]

    Atlanta rappers Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan have teamed up once again for a new track titled "M.O.M. (Mind On Money)," which you can check out below. If that title is any indication, the track is about money and how much these two love it (you know, hip-hop stuff). Though Thug and Quan's delivery is typically difficult to digest and inexplicably Autotuned, the beat itself is pretty nice.

  • Rich Homie Quan Has Drake on His Album, Is Featured On Lil Wayne "Grindin" Remix

    Dequantes Lamar, better known as, Rich Homie Quan, recently sat down with VladTV to discuss his upcoming music and the Lil Wayne, Birdman, YMCMB beef and divulged some pretty tasty morsels of information. When asked about what music he has coming up, he divulged that he will be on Lil Wayne's upcoming "Grindin' Remix", though does not indicate when it might be released. He is asked about his work with Drake and offers a run down of collaborative interests with the whole YMCMB crew. He notes, "Drake will be on my album. He invited me out to his house, we did 2-3 songs."

  • Rich Homie Quan Shares 'Flex' [LISTEN]

    Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has shared a new track titled "Flex," which you can check out below. The track was produced by Nitti Beatz and DJ Spinz and is backed by a pretty excellent electro beat, like a darker and more atmospheric version of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." Quan's performance is not bad either, often veering into — Auto-Tuned, of course — singing as much as straight-up rapping. You can check out Rich Homie Quan's "Flex" here, via "Miss Info":

  • Rich Homie Quan, Yo Gotti Appear on SBOE's 'Better Than Them' [LISTEN]

    Queens hip-hop group SBOE — Slow Bucks Over Everything — have shared a new track titled "Better Than Them," featuring guest appearances by Rich Homie Quan, Yo Gotti and Boosie Badazz, which you can check out below. According to "Hot New Hip-Hop," this track originally appeared earlier this year on an SBOE mixtape, only without the guest spots from Quan, Gotti and Boosie, so this seems like a deliberate attempt to turn this into a hit. The hook is decent enough, so it might actually work — though the "Scarface" sample at the beginning is almost laughably clichéd at this point in the history of hip-hop.   • Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug Guest on Nipsey Hussle's "Choke" [LISTEN]

    Nipsey Hussle's new mixtape, 'Mailbox Money,' is set to drop tomorrow, Dec. 31, but if that's too long for you to wait for new music, Nipsey has shared a new song titled "Choke" featuring Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, which you can check out here. The song features some heavy-hitting, dramatic production from London On Da Track and opens with a lengthy sample of Samuel L. Jackson's climactic speech from "Pulp Fiction." The vocals don't seem to be mixed very well though and often rise uncomfortably far above the beat.

  • Young Thug Drops New Song "Hold Us" Featuring Rich Homie Quan & Peewee Longway [LISTEN]

    Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan proved that they were a formidable team with their Rich Gang: Tha Tour Part 1 mixtape. Now they are at work on a follow-up with Part 2, which is rumored to drop any day now. To hold us over until the project eventually sees a release, they've shared a new track (via RapRadar) called "Hold Us," which features Thug, Quan, and rookie Atlanta rapper Peewee Longway (Gucci Mane affiliate).

  • Birdman, Young Thug Featured In Dej Loaf's "Blood" Music Video [WATCH]

    Detroit rapper, Dej Loaf, has shared the music video for her song "Blood," featuring Young Thug and Birdman, which you can check out here. The Be El Be-directed clip finds the three rappers partying and chilling in a few different locations, both indoors and outdoors. It's worth noting that Dej appears to be the only woman in the video, which is appropriate since the song is all about how she has no "hoe in her blood" or any "in her circle."

  • Kevin Gates Shares "I Don't Get Tired" Music Video Featuring August Alsina [WATCH]

    Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates has shared the music video for his latest single, "I Don't Get Tired" featuring August Alsina, which you can check out here. The Jon J.-directed clip incorporates footage of Gates on tour in between shots of him rapping in an auto-repair shop and outside of a convenience store. August Alsina, who provides the chorus hook, appears in some of the live performance footage, but doesn't appear alongside Gates in the scenes shot specifically for the video.
