• Ne-Yo Shares 'Make It Easy' from Upcoming 'Non-Fiction' [LISTEN]

    R&B superstar Ne-Yo has shared a new track titled "Make It Easy" off his upcoming studio album "Non-Fiction," which you can check out below. The track features some excellent electro-R&B production, particularly when it comes to the beat, while Ne-Yo stays predictably on top of his vocal game. You can check out Ne-Yo's "Make It Easy" here, via MTV: "Make It Easy" is the fifth song to be shared from Ne-Yo's upcoming album Non-Fiction, following "Coming with You," "She Knows" featuring Juicy J, "Money Can't Buy" featuring Jeezy and "Time of Our Lives" with Pitbull. The album is set for release Jan. 27, though this was pushed back from an original summer 2014 release date — it was also promised Nov. 11. It will be Ne-Yo's sixth studio album overall, his first since 2012's "R.E.D."

He then began scouting for new talent that would appear on the highly anticipated 'No Genre: 2' mixtape and eventually, 'No Genre: The Label,' which has become the showcase for his new talent, Jake Lambo, Scotty ATL, London Jae, Lin-Z and JaqueBeatz.

    Queens hip-hop group SBOE — Slow Bucks Over Everything — have shared a new track titled "Better Than Them," featuring guest appearances by Rich Homie Quan, Yo Gotti and Boosie Badazz, which you can check out below. According to "Hot New Hip-Hop," this track originally appeared earlier this year on an SBOE mixtape, only without the guest spots from Quan, Gotti and Boosie, so this seems like a deliberate attempt to turn this into a hit. The hook is decent enough, so it might actually work — though the "Scarface" sample at the beginning is almost laughably clichéd at this point in the history of hip-hop.     Up-and-coming Detroit rapper Dej Loaf has shared yet another remix of her hit single "Try Me," this time featuring new verses by Jeezy and T.I., as well as a new verse from Dej herself, which you can check out below. "Complex" points out that this is actually the second time "Try Me" has been remixed, following its initial remix featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Remy Ma from October.     Over the past week, the hip hop community has been embroiled in controversy and debate over "cultural misappropriation" or cultural smudging," notably directed at Iggy Azalea the new white chick on the block.
