    Australian outfit Tame Impala has been enjoying their victory touring circuit post-release of their third studio album, 'Currents,' which boasted dance-leaning cuts like "Eventually," which was used in an Apple Watch short, "Let it Happen" and "Cause I'm A Man." Triple J, a long-time radio station from the group's home country, is known for their ongoing cover series titled Like a Version, which brought fourth a new space-rock Tame Impala cover of pop star Kylie Minogue's 1994 single, "Confide in Me."

    The Official Charts Company has kicked off a Prog Albums Chart, with Perth, Australin band Tame Impala heading the pack and taking the number one spot on the first ever countdown with their third and latest studio album, 'Currents.' Prog Magazine will publish the innovative chart, which will coincide with this year's September 3 Progressive Music Awards to be held at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London.

    After previously facing legal battles concerning missing royalties, it seems Tame Impala has found itself in the midst of a new lawsuit. This time, front man Kevin Parker has been threatened by Samm Culley, a member of 70s funk group Skull Snaps, for allegedly sampling drums from the band's "It's a New Day." The Australian rockers recently released their third studio album, 'Currents,' where the so-called sample can be found on the track titled "Eventually," which saw early arrival ahead of the album's July 17 debut.
