  • Prodigy Announce 'Day Is My Enemy' Release Date, Tracklist

The news that all Prodigy fans have long been waiting for has finally arrived. The "Firestarter" group has dished the details on their upcoming artist album, "The Day Is My Enemy," slated for release March 30. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality have revealed the tracklist for the 14-track album as well via a post on the band's website. "The Day Is My Enemy" will be the sixth album in The Prodigy's storied 20-plus-year discography and their first in six years. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the follow-up to 2009's "Invaders Must Die" with little definitive news as to when the next album would come. 2014 was supposed to see the next album in stores, but the year came and went, and 2015 looked like a surer thing after the group signed a new record deal and management contract. None of the songs on the album have been released yet, but two have been previously announced: "Ibiza" alongside Sleaford Mods and "Nasty," scheduled to get its release sometime later this month. It is interesting to see the band collaborate on the album with American dubstep producer Flux Pavilion, notably in a tracklist largely devoid of collaborations. They both make jarring and aggressive music, so we will see what kind of madness comes from that collab.
  • Death Grips's 'Jenny Death' Release Date, Tracklist Possibly Released

When experimental hip-hop group The Death Grips abruptly broke up July 2, 2014, canceling all subsequent tour dates in the process, they announced that the second disc, "Jenny Death," of their final album "The Powers That B" would be released at the end of the year. The first disc, "N---as on the Moon," was released in June 2014. The end of 2014 came and went without a new album from Death Grips, though new information was released on the album, including that it was finished and artwork was revealed to fans. The album still never got released, though that may soon change. According to reports and online retailers, the album could be arriving in the next month and a half and a rumored tracklist has been compiled as well, via Pigeons and Planes. According to Amazon, who inadvertently broke the news on J. Cole's album "2014 Forest Hills Drive," "Jenny Death" will be released in North America Feb. 10, a person said on Reddit, and then according to a Japanese retailer, HMV, the album will be available Feb. 25. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but this looks pretty definitive. The group released the lead single from the album, "Inanimate Sensation," Dec. 9, which would make this release date plausible. Below is a rumored tracklist for "Jenny Death" that sounds like a Death Grips-y album, though we will not know until it is officially announced.

The 14-track album will feature previously announced collaborators Juicy J, Jeezy, Schoolboy Q and Pitbull with new work from Candice, T.I., Charisse Mills and frequent musical partner David Guetta. Fans who pre-order the album will instantly receive three tracks: "She Knows" featuring Juicy J, "Money Can't Buy" featuring Jeezy and "Religious." • J. Cole Shares '2014 Forest Hills Drive' Tracklist

An ode to his childhood home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where J. Cole grew up and the address he recently purchased, J. Cole is taking it back to where everything started for him. As reported by "The Fader," he has now released the full tracklist for the 13-track album that notably will not have any listed features. Despite the short timeline to promo the album, J. Cole has been active interacting with fans and creating buzz around the project and his music. J. Cole has been centering a lot of his promo on the actual property of "2014 Forest Hills Drive." He brought out some fans and neighbors for a special listening session at his newly purchased home and brought along "Complex" to film the process. He explained to the magazine what the house means to him and what he plans on doing it with going forward in the cover story.
