• Pendulum Live Band to Reunite for Ultra 2016

    Ultra Music Festival shared their initial 2016 lineup this week and along with that announcement came the news that Pendulum will be reuniting for the Miami event. The group confirmed via Twitter that the reunion set will be live.

    Ultra Music Festival has unveiled the aftermovie for its main 2015 event in Miami earlier this year. The 14-minute short film put together by Final Kid features a tracklist filled with tracks meant for the Miami sunshine from the likes of Michael Calfan, EDX, HI-LO, Valentino Khan and others. It also premieres a new ID from Martin Garrix, who had a career-defining set on the main stage, bringing out Usher and playing nearly all of his own music including a whole host of new tracks.

    The Swedish producer/DJ duo of Christian Karlsson (also known as the prolific pop producer and writer, Bloodshy) and member of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw, known by his other DJ persona, Style Of Eye, has released their debut album, 'Pharmacy' on Big Beat Records. The 13-track LP contains four previously released tracks, "Gold Dust," "You," the funky "Peanut Butter Jelly" and the growing hit, "Runaway (U&I)."

    The global run of Ultra Music Festivals is getting set to kick off after a moment-packed, albeit rainy Miami edition at the end of March. Two Southern Hemisphere Ultras took place in South Africa and Buenos Aires in February, but this summer will be the EDM festival brand's busiest yet.     It has been a while since we have seen Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, on the road. Ever since the Swedish superstar DJ, producer went onto injured reserve with various ailments towards the end of 2014, including canceling his main stage performance at TomorrowWorld, fans have been eager to see what the "Wake Me Up" DJ has been working on. He premiered teased some new demos at Future Music Festival in Australia in March, but the stage was ripe for Avicii to make a statement at Ultra Music Festival by premiering a whole host of new music. He did just that and nearly a month later has released his live set.
