  • Charli XCX Shares 'Gold Coins' from 'Sucker' Album, Sings About the Good Life [LISTEN]

Charli XCX's fourth single from her upcoming second album "Sucker" is pop gold. "Gold Coins" blends machine gun guitars and noisy effects with the singer's sultry vocals for a superb result. XCX has been busy getting fans ready for the album, out Dec. 16, by previously releasing singles "Boom Clap," "London Queen" and "Break the Rules." As "SPIN" notes, "Gold Coins" is a little slower than "Boom Clap" but it is just as infectious. The song is a carefree love letter to the good life, which XCX is looking to claim with her sophomore release. "Gold coins everywhere / Dollars up in the air / It's a billionaire's love affair," she sings. "Gold coins out the window / Money falls like the rain falls / And I'mma spend it like I don't care." Check out the pop hit below.
