Her number of albums sold is the record-taker for a first sales week since 1991, when Nielson Music started to follow point-of-sale music purchases. Her third studio album was released on Nov. 20 by XL Recordings/Columbia. It has already beat out album sales records held my N'SYNC and Britney Spears. -
