    As if Bill Cosby didn't already have enough grenades to dodge, yet another lawsuit was filed against him this week by one of his accusers, Janice Dickinson. If you remember, the former supermodel came forward a few months back, claiming that the famed comedian both drugged and then raped her. Of course, Cosby has denied that it ever happened and in doing so, basically has alluded to the notion that Dickinson is lying. That is defamation of character and she's not going to take it lightly.

    While Brian Williams may currently be off the air due to a six month suspension by NBC, he has spent the last few months willingly pulling out of other previously scheduled appearances. The latest is the Lincoln Awards which will honor those supporting U.S. veterans and their military families. While Williams was originally expected to host the even and give a taped introduction to the festivities, we've now learned that Michelle Obama will instead now be doing the honors.

    The battle between Sony and Soundcloud has turned ugly this month as the label has decided to start pull down it's artist's music from the Berlin music service. Among those who have been affected this far include Adele, Miguel, Passion Pit and in the next day or two Madeon. Sony Music recently bought dance music label Ultra Records as its U.S. electronic music branch. Ultra Records CEO Patrick Moxey was a speaker at IMS Engage in Ibiza, a conference for electronic music industry folks and he was asked about the conflict between his label parent and Soundcloud. According to Music Week, he backed Sony and spoke rather candidly about the lack of monetization opportunities found on Soundcloud at the moment - a common theme echoed among labels now.

In a melancholy new trailer for 'Amy,' Winehouse tells the camera "The more people see of me, the more they'll realize that all I'm good for is making music," as the film details her rise to artistic notoriety and heartbreaking decline under pressure.

    A tracklist for A$AP Rocky's highly anticipated sophomore album At.Long.Last.A$AP (or A.L.L.A.) has surfaced online (via HipHop-N-More). Their source is unclear, so we can't quite confirm that this is the official list, but it looks plausible. The 18-track album appears to be feature heavy, although the names listed could just indicate the producers who worked on the tracks. Present on the list are the previously released "LSD," "Lorde Pretty Flacko Jodeye 2," the Rod Stewart-sampling, Miguel and Mark Ronson-featuring "Everyday," and "M's," which has been bolstered with an Lil Wayne appearance. The single "Multiply," which dropped last October is absent from the list as is the song "The Beauty and the Beast," which was teased during his CRWN interview.

    Chuck Berry took to the studio in Chicago on this date 60 years ago to record his first single for Chess Records...a little number called "Maybellene." It was a hit, reaching no. 5 on the singles charts, but more importantly, it's often cited as the starting place for rock 'n' roll, more so than any other song. Berry may have been one of the first to break from the blues into rock 'n' roll but he took something from his guitar forbearers, mixing things up live and not being afraid to toy with the formula, even for one of his most famous songs. Music Times looked through Berry's catalogue and found five different versions of "Maybellene" that have been dropped on official live releases.

    Frequent Chief Keef collaborator, Fredo Santana has released a new mixtape Ain't No Money Like Trap Money Volume 1. The Chicago MC has released the full 15-track project with a whole host of big name features. Of the 15 tracks on the 15 tracks on the tape, only two are solo and he made sure those features were worth it. He was able to get names like his cousin Chief Keef, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk and Kevin Gates on the tape. Of course, when you have a project like this that is so street-driven, Gucci Mane is going to appear and there he is on "Play With Your Children."
  • Skrillex Launches Satellite For New Google Editions Phone Case

    Skrillex is always looking to do something different, and his next project certainly fits that description. He has teamed up with Google to create limited edition phone cases for Android devices, titled "Editions." The "Where Are Ü Now" producer has unveiled three unique designs inspired by his lifelong fascination with space, which has been seen by his usage of the alien emoji on social media and that same graphic as the album art for his recent album Recess. To make the collaboration even more special, Skrillex, real name Sonny Moore, has launched a satellite named after the American producer's dog Nanou, into space, which will take pictures of the earth and project them on your phone as rotating wallpapers each day.
