To coincide with her upcoming MoMA career retrospective, Björk will be releasing a book titled "Björk: Archives," which will take a look back at the Icelandic singer's career and offer exclusive essays, poetry and artwork.According to i-D, the book will cover Björk's "seven major albums" — which presumably does not include her 1977 self-titled debut or her film soundtracks — and will explore "the personas surrounding each through poetry, academic analysis, philosophical texts, and stunning visuals."Among the contributors to "Björk: Archives" are film directors Spike Jonze and Chris Cunningham, as well as Icelandic poet Sjón and musicology professor Nicola Dibben. The book will also include portraits of Björk by Nan Goldin, Juergen Teller, Arakia and Inez & Vinoodh and will feature photos from some of the singer's famous costumes, designed by Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Sophia Kokosalaki. Four booklets will be released with the book as well as a poster featuring the artwork of all seven albums being covered. -
Taylor Swift and "Blank Space" Hold Off Hozier on Digital Downloads Charts; Still No "Do They Know It's Christmas?" to Be Seen
For some reason we had the misguided impression that the new "Do They Know It's Christmas?," celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original Band Aid single with contributions from One Direction and Chris Martin (for charity), would easily take the top spot on this week's Digital Downloads chart. We were wrong. Taylor Swift's single "Blank Space," which is most certainly not for charity, took the no. 1 position again, moving 302,000 copies. -

Despite being the second highest sales week of the year (which it took from Swift's second week), the sales for the album were lower than analysts expected. -

Megadeth's Drummer and Guitarist Quit at the Same Time
Since its inception back in 1983, Megadeth has had 19 musicians run through its line-up, with the only constant member being guitarist and lead vocalist Dave Mustaine. But it looks like Mustaine will have to start looking for two more musicians, as both guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover have separately announced their departures from the legendary thrash metal band."After 10 years, I have decided to quit Megadeth to pursue my own musical interests," Drover wrote in a statement, via "Brave Words." "I want to thank Dave Mustaine and the entire Megadeth family, as well as thanking all the amazing Megadeth fans around the world!!! I truly appreciate all of you. Stay tuned for info on my next musical journey."Just hours after Drover announced his departure, Broderick announced his own departure from Megadeth through a separate statement posted to his website."Due to artistic and musical differences, it is with great reluctance that I announce my departure fro Megadeth to pursue my own musical direction," Broderick wrote. "I want all of you to know how much I appreciate the amount that you the fans have accepted and respected me as a member of Megadeth for the last seven years, but it is time for me to move on. I wish Dave and everyone in Megadeth all the best."Just like Drover had done, Broderick also promises new music in the near future. -

Most of the Kardashian Family Will Be Spending Thanksgiving as Far from Kris Jenner as They Can Get!
Remember when part of the magical effect that the Kardashian family had on people was the ability to make fans jealous? It really did seem, at least for a little while, that life as a member of Kris Jenner's extended family would be simply amazing. Now, a few years after the bottom began falling out, even the most die-hard of fans know otherwise. It was all an illusion especially created for reality television and, unfortunately, Jenner's true reality seems to get more dismal by the week. After confirming that she is dating 25-year-old Corey Gamble, even her kids are refusing to come home for Thanksgiving!Kendall and Kylie Jenner were especially crushed by Kris's divorce from their father Bruce Jenner, and they often side with him. According to Radar Online, both girls are refusing to even deal with their mom's new man and will be spending the holiday with their father. Kourtney Kardashian's relationship with Scott Disick is a mess, so they are passing on Kris's invite. Khloé and Rob Kardashian are both unpredictable and dealing with their own issues, so they are likely to stay away, too. The only family members who are confirmed to be spending Thanksgiving at the family compound are Kim Kardashian and her little family, and that is likely because they still live there! -

Jimmy Kimmel and Meghan Trainor Get Thanksgiving Carols Industry Rolling with Skit Full of New Holiday Classics from "All About That Bass" Performer
It's like they were reading our minds: We're of the mind that even discussing Christmas shouldn't begin until Santa has rolled up in his sleigh at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and that Thanksgiving has gotten the raw deal as a holiday as retailers and your overzealous neighbors roll out their Christmas decorations earlier and earlier. What can help fix the problem? Thanksgiving carols of course! Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has teamed up with Meghan Trainor to deliver the goods. -
Sinead O'Connor Defends 'Do They Know It's Christmas?," Tells Critics to 'Shut the F--k Up'
Last week, on Nov. 17, the latest version of Band Aid's classic charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" was released online to raise money for the Ebola crisis in West Africa, and though it went straight to the top of the U.K. charts and is supporting an undoubtedly good cause, the song has been the subject of plenty of criticism, particularly for its lyrics.According to two British newspapers, Emeli Sandé, who actually appears on the latest version, said the lyrics need "changing," while Lily Allen called the song "a bit smug" and said she would prefer "donating actual money."One artist who is vigorously defending the song, however, is the famously outspoken Sinead O'Connor, who also appears on the song."I think everyone should shut the f--k up," O'Connor told "Broadsheet," via "Billboard." "If you didn't like the lyrics you shouldn't have agreed to sing the song. I think it's smug of Lily Allen to say it's smug."
