    Last month, South By Southwest announced its first round of artists, featuring Thee Oh Sees, Jessie Ware, Courtney Barnett, and more. Today, the legendary Austin, Texas festival has announced its second round of artists, which you can check out below. Some of the biggest names in this round include The Cribs, Gang of Four, Swervedriver, Twin Shadow, and '60s pop legends the Zombies.

The pair last hooked up on the 2005 posthumous "The Final Chapter." Evans told HipHollywood that the project was inspired by Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole's 1991 effort "Unforgettable." It is tentatively titled "The King and I.""It's something I've been thinking about doing for many, many years," the singer told HipHollywood. "So I finally got all my ducks in a row to try and make it happen."As for what the album would contain, Evans offered this: "It is definitely unheard music. Unheard music in the presentation of it. That's what I will say."The project is still in its infancy, so there is not much to go on, but Evans does not specifically say there will be previously unreleased verses by Biggie on the album. If it is going to be in the same vein as "Unforgettable," then there will probably be edited remixes of Biggie tunes with Evans accompanying on vocals."I'm just getting into actually working on it," she added. "It's going to be really, really dope."Fans can expect to hear some music from the project within the next year.

The repercussions of her dalliance have been far-reaching, as TLC has decided to pull the plug on her family's reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and her children seem to be pitted against each other, depending on who or what they believe. Shannon has opted to break her silence and has hit up the talk-show circuit in an attempt to tell her own version of the truth.According to an interview that TMZ conducted with Dr. Phil, after listening to Shannon's explanations he has come to the conclusion that she is a compulsive liar who is drawn to criminals. Shannon's sit-down interview with him aired Monday, Nov. 17, and perhaps the biggest thing that we learned from it was that four of the men she has dated long term have been incarcerated — two of them for sex crimes, with the man she claims fathered Lauryn and Jessica Shannon not eligible for release until 2026!

  • Dwight Howard Under Criminal Investigation for Child Abuse in Georgia, Admits Beating Son with Belt Buckle

    It looked for a moment like NBA star Dwight Howard was going to be off the hook in a child abuse investigation that began in Florida. Howard's ex, Royce Reed, accused him of beating their 6-year-old son Braylon, with a belt buckle, something that was actually substantiated after a full exam by the Department of Children and Families. Dr. Kesler said that abrasions on the child were consistent with being struck repeatedly with a belt buckle, and Howard himself confirmed he had punished his son in that manner. According to Howard, it was how he was punished as a kid and had no idea it was wrong. Even after all this, Florida closed up its investigation, saying there was not enough credible proof. It looked like Howard was cleared — at least until yesterday.According to a new TMZ report, Braylon's injuries actually occurred in Georgia and the Cobb County Police Department had been asking for the file on this case for months, with no cooperation. After TMZ actually posted Florida DCF's findings, it gave Cobb County more leverage and the file ended up in their hands within a few hours.

    Ludacris has been occupying himself with other ventures in the entertainment business, but that does not mean he has forgotten about his roots in hip-hop. He took to Instagram last night to unveil the cover art for his upcoming EP "Burning Bridges," which is set to drop Dec. 16, via MTV. He also hints at a Google play release in his Instagram post. He announced the EP a week and half ago on Twitter, where he also provided details on his long-anticipated ninth studio album "Ludaversal."
