Prince Removes Himself From The Internet, Deletes Twitter, Facebook Accounts
Among Prince's exceedingly long list of quirks is his aversion to the Internet, which makes it very difficult to find any of his music online. Although it appeared as if he was changing his stance on the Internet over the past year, creating a Twitter account and sharing some of his new songs online, that's all come crashing down today, Nov. 25, as The Star Tribune reports that the Purple One has deleted his Twitter account, Facebook page, and pulled many of his recent videos off of Youtube without warning. Chris 'CT' Tamburello Proposed to Diem Brown Five Days Before Her Death
Fans of MTV's "The Challenge" are likely familiar with Diem Brown and Chris "CT" Tamburello's love story. They first met and fell in love on the show in 2006 and spent the next several years making up only to break up. Friends of the couple have said that while their relationship was complicated, Brown and Tamburello had a lot of love for each other, even when they were off. On Nov. 14, Brown died due to complications caused by the cancer that had spread throughout her body, but in her final days Tamburello worked hard to make their status official.According to "Us Weekly," just five days before Brown's death Tamburello burst into her hospital room and filmed a proposal that included a ruby ring. Brown shot him down, joking that she hated rubies, and so the next day he returned with a different ring. Brown knew her days were numbered, and she was struggling to find an alternative treatment that might buy her a little more time. She reportedly did not want to be engaged under those circumstances, and she likely knew that in the end it might make it harder for Tamburello to move on after her death. -
New 'Jurassic World' Trailer Features John Williams Theme from 'Jurassic Park' and Other Similarities from Original [WATCH]
Millennials rejoice: The new trailer for "Jurassic World" is here and it gives a few shout-outs to the original "Jurassic Park," which came out in 1993. The trailer features the career-hot Chris Pratt in the leading role, a futuristic park and a genetically modified dinosaur because the regular ones were getting boring. Thankfully, the original movie's presence is undeniable in the trailer, "Billboard" notes.OK, so the plot is technically different in that the "Park" is now a "World" and things seem to be peaceful. That all changes when Bryce Dallas Howard's ("The Help" and "50/50") character reveals that scientists have been messing around with dinosaur genetics in order to create a super monster — silly scientists! Pratt is reminiscent of Sam Neill in the original, if only because of his nerdy vest and unfortunate predicament.Other similarities from the trailer include two children heading to the amusement park sans parents, the mosquito with dino DNA that started the whole franchise and the epic John Williams theme music. Head to the 1:50 mark to here the spine-tingling piano version of the theme. There is no sign of any villainous Wayne Knight character, though. -
Rick Ross Shares Music Video for 'Hood Billionaire' Title Track [WATCH]
Rick Ross's most recent studio album, "Hood Billionaire," was released yesterday, Nov. 24, and today the Florida rapper has shared the music video for the album's title track, which you can check out below. Not that much happens in the video: Ross raps at the camera, flaunts some cash in a dark room and is occasionally interrupted by a few quick shots of the streets — it is not clear what streets exactly — as well as some real-life footage of Ross sitting courtside at a Miami Heat game. But what makes the video unusual is that is it peculiarly bookended by short promos for "Hood Billionaire" and the upcoming fourth installment of Maybach Records's Self Made compilation series, as well as some shout-outs to rappers Stalley, Meek Mill and even some advertisements for Wing Stop and Luc Belaire wine.It feels like you are watching the video in a movie theater — a crappy movie theater, but still. Since this is not a particularly hooky track — or even a star-studded one, since Ross appears on his own — it seems as if this video was made as more of an advertisement for the album as a whole rather than just for this one song. You can check out Rick Ross's music video for "Hood Billionaire" here: -
