    Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean were set for separate 2015 tours until some smart person came up with an idea that will change the live landscape next summer. The two superstars will now combine their acts for a 10-date run between May and August.
  • Avicii, Nicki Minaj, Lorde, And More Partner With Disney For Fantasia: Music Evolved Video Game [WATCH]

    A new video game from Disney called Fantasia: Music Evolved puts the power of composing music into gamers' hands. Based off the 1940 animated film Fantasia and built by Harmonix for Xbox One and Kinect for Xbox 630, the game is powered by motion control, where different body movements allow users to interact with the music. The game hosts more than 30 artists including Avicii, Peter Gabriel, Lady Gaga, Gorillaz, Queen, Sting, Lorde, Bruno Mars, Drake, The White Stripes, Nicki Minaj, Drake, The Flaming Lips, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, and the Who as well as Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi and other classical composers.
  • Gia Soriano Second Student to Succumb to Injuries after Jaylin Fryberg Opened Fire in Washington School Shooting Last Friday

    Two days after being shot by good friend Jaylin Fryberg, 14-year-old Gia Soriano's family made the devastating decision to take her off life support. She died at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and her organs were donated for transplant. Last Friday morning, Oct. 24, Fryberg walked into Maryville-Pilchuk High School's cafeteria in Washington state and shot five of the people closest to him, including his two cousins. Zoe Galasso died at the scene after being shot and Fryberg also died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
  • Apple Reportedly Aims to Work Beats Music Streaming Service into iTunes as Downloads Numbers Fall

    The biggest deal in the music industry this year, both in dollar figures and headlines, was when Apple acquired Beats Audio. No one expected much of a change to occur with Beats popular headphone lines so most questions focused on the future of the new streaming service Beats Music. It seems, according to The Wall Street Journal, that Apple will aim to build Beats Audio into the iTunes platform. For a price, of course.
  • Beyonce, Topshop Partner Up for Active Wear Line Inspired by "Flawless" Singer's Dance Regimen

    If you've ever wanted to work out, dress and look like Beyoncé, soon you will be in luck because the "**Flawless" singer is releasing her own active wear line. Today (Oct. 27), Beyoncé and English clothing retailer Topshop announced that they will be entering into a partnership for a new line of fitness clothing.
  • Staind Singer Aaron Lewis Botches National Anthem at World Series, Apologizes

    Aaron Lewis tried and failed to perform the national anthem before Sunday night's World Series game in San Francisco. The Staind singer and aspiring country star screwed up the second line of the song — his version: "What so proudly we hailed were so gallantly streaming" — and then apologized profusely on Facebook:

    Got New Year's Eve plans? Taylor Swift will have a front row seat for the ball drop at Times Square and she won't need to wait for hours on end inside of caged-off cubicles. What we're trying to say is that ABC has announced the star will be performing as part of 'Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Rockin' Eve' with Ryan Seacrest (via Billboard).
  • MO Explains Weak "Beg For It" Performance with Iggy Azalea on 'Saturday Night Live' [WATCH]

    Iggy Azalea and Danish singer MO made their Saturday Night Live debut over the weekend (Oct. 25) and despite a glitzy stage set-up and plenty of hype for their new Reclassified single "Beg For It," the performance left a lot to be desired. Technical difficulties and an off-beat backing track led to a flubbed performance from MO, and now she's explaining the mishap on social media.
