  • Jack White and Third Man rereleasing White Stripes' 'Elephant' singles in vinyl collection

    The White Stripes' modern classic Elephant is continuing to get the vinyl treatment in the wake of its ten-year anniversary. The album was rereleased for Record Store Day back in April featuring some new colors (both on the cover and the 12"), and now Third Man Records is releasing all of the album's singles as part of its Vault series.
  • Phil Everly of legendary Everly Brothers dies at age 74

    Singer and guitarist Phil Everly, one half of the legendary duo The Everly Brothers, died on Friday at the age of 74.
  • Ice Cube confirms May release date for new album, 'Everythang's Corrupt'

    Ice Cube's first album of new material in more than three years finally has a release date, according to Billboard. He announced on Twitter that his tenth studio album, Everythang's Corrupt, will be released on May 13, 2014 on his personal label Lench Mob Records.
  • Ke$ha admits herself into rehab to treat eating disorder

    Yesterday, Ke$ha reportedly admitted herself to a rehab center to confront an apparent eating disorder, according to Billboard. Following the release of her self-directed "Dirty Love" video earlier this week, she admitted herself into a Chicago-area treatment center where she plans to stay for a month.

    Jack White hit the studio again in 2013 to record with The Dead Weather for their new singles series that will lead up to the release of a full album in 2015. Now, White has also confirmed the release of a follow up to his 2012 debut solo album, Blunderbuss.

    Phil Everly passed away Jan. 3 after complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was a longtime smoker. The Everly Brothers made a huge pack on the industry, specifically with their tight-knit harmonies that influenced many other artists today, including Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones who released the tribute album Foreverly in November.
