    Miley Cyrus has made huge waves in 2013 musically, with two smash singles "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball." Now, the infamous twerker is out to do it again. Today (Dec. 6), Cyrus has announced her third Bangerz single. So, what is going to be the junior release? The answer is album opener "Adore You."

    Jasmine Garsd and Felix Contreras of NPR's Alt.Latino music blog have released their list of the best Latin alternative music and artists to come out this year. With Garsd stationed in Mexico City and Contreras posted up in Washington D.C. they scoured Latin America for music and spoke with journalists and authors about issues effecting the Latino community.

    Kanye West has a lot going on in his life right now with a new baby, an upcoming wedding and all of the other things that come with being a hip hop mogul who has a lot of opinions. He always has a lot of projects brewing at any given time, not always related to music (i.e. his cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues out Dec. 18). But on Juan Epstein's podcast, hosted by Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds, the artist speaks about his roots in rap.
  • NBC's 'The Sound of Music' probably won't make its money back...initially

    NBC obviously put a lot of work into promoting the new live performance of The Sound of Music, starring Carrie Underwood in the role of Maria Von Trapp, the role filled by Julie Andrews during the original film. The promotion campaign seemed to have paid off, as the broadcast brought in a huge viewership. But that doesn't mean the network made its money back. The Hollywood Reporter got numbers from analysts putting the production's budget at around $9 million.

    NBC hedged a huge bet when they decided to air a three-hour live production of "The Sound of Music" on Thursday night (Dec. 5), and though reviews of the program have come out as mixed, at best, the viewers were certainly alive for the "Sound of Music."

A short montage aired prior to Kelly's musical performance, where he played "Soldier's Heart," a song he wrote about Mandela and performed for him back in 2009.

  • Drake drops Grammy Nominations Concert at last moment

    Rapper Drake won't be making his scheduled appearance at the Grammy nominations concert in Los Angeles tonight, as was previously announced. A spokesperson for the rapper cited "scheduling complications."
