Justin Timberlake has reportedly decided to disconnect from Britney Spears' fanbase.

With an unapologetic defiance, the 43-year-old singer has boldly declared that he will not be offering any apologies to anyone, no matter the ongoing backlash he faces.

No Apologies Needed?

Justin Timberlake has found himself at the center of controversy since Britney Spears revealed shocking details about their tumultuous love affair in her recently published memoir, "The Woman In Me."

However, the former NSYNC star courageously declared on Wednesday evening that he would no longer be seeking forgiveness for his past transgressions despite the "Baby One More Time" singer's earlier gesture of reconciliation.

Britney had extended an olive branch just days ago, apologizing for certain remarks made in a book and commending Justin's latest musical creations.

However, in a report by the Daily Mail, a source intimately familiar with the father of two shared their insights.

According to them, Justin has made a significant decision - he no longer wishes to prioritize the approval of Britney's and Janet Jackson's fans. As a result, he has chosen to redirect his energy elsewhere, away from catering to those particular fanbases.

They revealed, "[Justin] intends to be himself and only treats things in his mind fairly. Britney called him out in her book; he's had a constant back-and-forth with her over the years that will never end."

The source went on to say, "When he apologized originally, it got him nowhere, so now he is just dealing with it the one way he has to, and that is not putting much care on anyone's feelings but his own."

Fan Backlash

In 2021, Justin Timberlake felt compelled to express his remorse towards Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, acknowledging his participation in a system that promotes misogyny and racism.

The "Señorita" singer's apology was prompted by the way he had treated his ex-girlfriend and the inaction he displayed when Janet faced severe consequences following the accidental exposure of her breasts during their joint performance at the 2004 Super Bowl.

Starting her book with shocking revelations, Britney exposed Justin's alleged role in pressuring her to undergo an abortion during her unexpected pregnancy.

Furthermore, the "Lucky" singer accused her ex-boyfriend of tarnishing her reputation by painting her as a seductress who shattered the hearts of the nation's beloved golden boy, leading to their eventual breakup.

Cry Me A River

In a recent performance at the grand opening of the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, Justin Timberlake subtly acknowledged the aftermath and backlash resulting from their highly publicized split.

Despite his heartfelt apology, the fans of his former flame Britney Spears were undeterred.

Her fans rallied together and successfully launched a campaign to elevate her latest single, "Selfish," above his own with the same title, creating an unexpected chart-topping sensation.

Amid his disappointment over the assault on his chart position, Justin's concert took an unexpected turn.

Rather than expressing regret, he surprised the crowd with a bold statement, "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize, to absolutely f--king nobody." A concert attendee recalled that Justin's remark preceded his performance of "Cry Me A River."

Despite facing criticism from her supporters, an individual with insider knowledge of Britney's situation disclosed that the singer has no expectations from Justin.

According to the source, Britney extended her apology without anticipating any reciprocation. The intention behind her gesture was to maintain her integrity and express genuine remorse, as she never intended to cause harm.

The source went on to say, "She was only sharing her truth. They have not talked at all in over a decade."

The insider added it is no shock to Britney's team that Justin made a bold statement while performing.

The source asserts that Justin's outburst during his show is merely a ploy to generate attention for his tour. However, they criticize his remarks as "being misogynistic, arrogant, and selfish. Such qualities are to be expected from him."

Interestingly, the current sales of Justin's tickets and that Britney's rendition of "Selfish" surpassed his in the initial week convey a significant message.
